PPR has saved over 2,300 dogs through the tireless efforts of volunteers and generous donations. But it is our wonderful adopters who are the true rescue heroes! We can't thank you enough for opening your hearts and homes to a dog who needs you. Giving these pups a new beginning in their forever home is the greatest gift they can receive.

Mojo is HOME!!  Amanda and Sean took their time looking for a great dog to adopt, one they could love and nurture for the rest of his life. Mojo was just the dog they hoped to adopt, a young Basenji boy who loves to play, go to the dog park and snuggle up for a little TV time!  Mojo thought the whole plan was just perfect and he couldn't wait to make the first trip to the park with his new mom and dad. Amanda and Sean adore their new addition and have already spoiled him with his own treats, toys and bed. Thank you Amanda and Sean for choosing to adopt and especially for choosing to rescue Mojo!

Willow is HOME!!  Chris and Janis were experiencing the empty nest syndrome that comes when dog owners find themselves without a dog to love. This couple has loved many dogs through the years and missed the joy a pooch brings to every day. Sweet Willow is just the pup Chris & Janis were hoping to adopt as she is just small enough to spend the days at the office with them and will be a great companion on their travels in their RV. Willow has so much to look forward to including long walks with Chris & Janis, and occasional visits from the grandkids. Thank you forever parents Janis & Chris for choosing adoption and big thanks to Maryellen, Mark & the boys for fostering your first pup till her forever home came along.

Bingo is HOME!!  Janne, Devin and their 2 sons drove from Dunedin to meet Bingo, and just as foster mom Miranda expected, Bingo was the perfect dog to complete this awesome family! Bingo hit the jackpot with 2 active boys to play & hang out with. We predict Bingo learns lots of new tricks and plays countless games of fetch with his new active buddies. After a long search to find their forever pup, we are thrilled that Janne & Devin added Bingo to their family. Foster mom Miranda will miss this little fella so much but she knows this awesome pup has a fabulous future in store.

Buttons and Bouncer (now Sam and Gus) are HOME!!  We were thrilled that Debra wanted to give this pair a forever home because we know how loved, spoiled & well cared for all of her dogs are. Debra splits time between Florida and Illinois and the pups travel right along with her. They just left the sunny skies of Florida and got their very first "taste" of snow!!  What an incredibly happy life these fellas will have together, Thank you Debra for adopting this awesome pair! Their best years are definitely ahead. And thank you Tomi and the awesome staff at OCCC for fostering these boys!

Miss Tubbs is HOME!!  Amanda and Darren are 2 of PPR's wonderful foster parents, having fostered many dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages during their time with PPR.  Every dog touched them in a special way but it was little puppy Tubbs who really stole their hearts. Amanda & Darren were ready to adopt and raise a little puppy of their own so they chose Tubbs to be their new forever family pooch. Tubbs is a lucky little girl to have such dedicated parents, and she has the added bonus of pup foster playmates who can teach her appropriate doggy manners. Thank you so much Amanda & Darren for being great foster, and now forever, pup parents. And thank you Misty and your family for fostering Miss Tubbs and her pup sisters till adoption.

Peanut is HOME!!  New puppy mom Rae knows it takes an abundance of love, energy and patience to raise a little puppy. She waited till the time was just right to adopt her new family member, teeny tiny Peanut. Rae was instantly smitten with Peanut, and assured us she had plenty of experience growing up with the chi/doxi breed. She could hardly wait to bring this adorable little furbaby home! Rae is even buying her first home, complete with a fenced yard so Peanut will be tuckered out by days end from endless hours of play. Rae knows that a happy, well behaved puppy is a tired puppy! Rae, thank you for choosing to adopt your first fur baby! And thank you so much foster mom Misty and your awesome family for fostering Peanut and her sisters till adopted.

Alexus is HOME!!  Jean could hardly wait to meet Alexus and bring her home to love & spoil forever. Jean's little poodle Stormy recently passed away so Jean's heart was just bursting with love to share with another dog who needed her. Harry was right on board as well and the two of them drove from Spring Hill, adopted this sweet baby, and Jean reports that Lexi has already found a cozy spot on their bed at night. Lexi is getting used to Katie, the senior Great Dane in the house, making sure Katie knows that while she might be bigger, she still has to share! We couldn't be happier that Alexus has such a wonderful forever home with Jean and Harry. Thank you Tomi and everyone at OCCC who played with Lexi & taught her to swim!!

Carly is HOME!! Hope and Thomas have a special place in their hearts for their dogs. They are family and there is nothing that they won't do for them. Carly caught their eye as they have a special affection for Schnauzers and have a big heart for senior pooches. Little Carly is the right age to form a true sisterhood with Hope and Tom's pup Nicole, a sweet little Schnauzer who enjoys life to the fullest at the age of 13.  These little ladies will be best friends, in no time at all. Thank you Hope and Thomas for choosing to give a senior pup a new lease on life.  Carly is about to live her best years yet.  And thank you Leah for being such a special foster mom to this pup who also stole your heart.

Maggie and her chihuahua sister are becoming friends as well. Madeline/Maggie has her forever home and we thank Paul and Janet for always choosing to rescue your pups. Thank you as well to foster mom Janeen for loving Madeline while she was in your care.

Kody is HOME!! Welcome to your incredible happily ever after Kody! Diego and Isabel promised their children that when they moved to their new house, they would begin the search for a family pup to adopt. The kids didn't forget and as the moving truck drove away, these 2 youngsters started the search for their very first dog. They just wanted a great little buddy, a pup they could play with, hang out with, and snuggle up with at night. Kody fits right in & just goes with the flow. Sierra is HOME!!  Tom and Jacque felt it was time to adopt a fur baby having suffered the loss of their beloved pup Bella last fall. When they met Sierra, naturally it was love at first sight. Within a few days, they determined that given all she'd been through, including the loss of a leg, she should be named after their dear friend Rosie, who continues to show great courage in the face of her own adversity. We can't wait to hear updates about our special girl, who stole a lot of hearts while in PPR's care, including foster moms Becky, Kim and Deb, as well as Dr. Zern and the wonderful vet staff who showed such compassion for Sierra throughout surgery & recovery. Rosie's journey to happily ever after is just the beginning and we couldn't be happier.

Mimi is HOME!! Mary has spent years volunteering in animal rescue so she knows very well how awesome rescue pups are! And she has a special place in her heart for the older pooches as she knows what devoted companions these proper little pups can be. We couldn't be happier for Mimi because she so deserves a wonderful forever home, and now she has the home, the mom, and a new fur sister named Chloe. The happy family looks forward to many wonderful years together. Thank you Mary for choosing to adopt all your fur babies. And thanks so much Sherry for fostering sweet Mimi.

Now it is her turn to live the life of a happy dog with a family who will love her forever. Maryann promises to give Lily that life, complete with several daily walks and an abundance of cuddle time. That very cool boy is Emerson, who spotted Liam at the Rescuefest event.  He told his mom that he was sure Liam was the dog for him! Emerson even walked all around Rescuefest checking out all the awesome pups, but he knew that Liam was meant to go home with him. Mom Laura agreed & that sealed the deal! Amanda and Kent will be sure these two pups get all the exercise & play time big dogs need. No doubt Mercy & Zoey will have a blast together, running through their big fenced yard, playing fetch, then when all tuckered out, heading inside to cozy up on their cushy beds right by mom and dad. This little girl will get so much attention from her new parents and will have her pup brother to give her lots of pointers on good manners. Not to mention on what makes mom and dad happy! Jessica and Derrick love to take their dog to the park so Isis gets to go along for all the fun. They are both dog lovers who can give a dog plenty of exercise, play time and love. This couple wanted a young dog who could be with them for many, many years, but only a rescue pup would do. They found their soul mate with Sweetie, who is just as sweet as sugar through and through. Tori and Jason couldn't be happier with their new family member. Thank you for adopting and thank you Samantha for fostering Sweetie and her equally as sweet sister Honey.

Doby is HOME!! Spoiled Rotten is the best way to describe Doby these days! From foster to forever home with Janette, this pup couldn't be happier, or more loved! Doby, now known as DeJango, is living the good life, complete with posh collars, swanky sweaters, and the softest beds any little puppy ever dreamed of. DeJango, or Jango for short, is just so adorable that Janette can't help but spoil him. But the good news is that Jango doesn't let all that pampering go to his head. He loves his mom Janette right back with his all heart, and he knows he's one lucky pup to be forever home with Janette and pup brother Rocky. Thank you Janette, you are simply the best!!

And thank you as always to foster mom Barb.

Barney has also become the hit of the neighborhood, meeting lots of new friends on his daily strolls. This great little dog has found his forever home & will bring this couple wonderful couple years of joy. Thank you Doris & Gary and thank you foster mom Kelly!

Jacks is HOME!! Yolanda, Kyle and their daughter thought a playmate for their young Boston Terrier named Brutus was a great idea . Brutus is an active little guy who wanted a buddy to pal around with, play a little chase with, and generally stir up some silliness. These two fellas are surely going to keep things lively at this house, which is just what Yolanda & Kyle were hoping for. Jacks is super happy too because he always hoped for a brother. Now he has that and a wonderful family to love him forever. Thank you Yolanda & Kyle for choosing adoption. Thank you foster mom Molly, Jacks will never forget you!

Ozzie is a super laid back little dude but he also enjoys nice long strolls on a beautiful Florida day. That's just the kind of dog Pam & Randy were looking for, one who would chill out to watch a little Animal Planet, but then go with them on their walks along the many trails in their community. Ozzie fits in great in his new home & is forever grateful to Pam & Randy for his new beginning. Thank you Peter & Pricilla for being such wonderful foster parents to this little pup.

Bosco knew he hit the jackpot with this match! This little poodle boy is off to his new beginning with promises of awesome treats, fluffy soft beds and lots of belly. Thank you Judy for adopting your new family member and thank you Trina for being a super foster mom!

Jazz is HOME!!  Laura & Adam are an active couple with an even more active pup! One of their favorite activities is taking their dog Sydney to the dog park to play with her pup friends. That's where a chance meeting occurred between Sydney & Jazz. It must have been puppy love at first sight as these two pups played together for hours! Laura & Adam had been considering adopting a pup mate for Sydney so after leaving the park that day, they were convinced Jazz should be part of their family. We never tire of a good love story and this one definitely has a happy ending for Jazz and Sydney. Thank you Laura, Adam & Sydney for welcoming Jazz into your family. And thank you foster mom Priya for giving so much love, time & care to another wonderful dog.

That's just the dog that Rebecca, David & Rebecca's mom Emily, were hoping to adopt. Star will have so many loving arms giving her snuggles & tummy rubs now that Emily lives with Rebecca & David. No doubt Star will soak up all that love, returning it with sweet puppy kisses & devotion. Emily especially wanted a little dog to love since loosing her beloved poodle last year. She is so happy that Star, now known as Goldie, is her new constant companion. Thank you Rebecca, David & Emily for choosing adoption.  Thank you foster mom Barb for all the love you gave Star while she waited for her forever home.

Dazzle is HOME!!  Dazzle was a terrified little fella when he came into foster care with Victoria and her family. This little guy needed patience, tlc, and time to grow to trust those around him. A very special bond was formed between Victoria's daughters Lia and Lucy, and Mr. Dazzle. They even renamed him Piggy because he hogs all their affection! What could be better for a scared little dog than 2 precious little girls who dote on him, take him everywhere they go, and simply love him to pieces. Piggy is shown here with foster mommies turned forever mommies Lia and Lucy, along with his new pup mate HunnyBunny. Thank you Victoria for allowing Dazzle to stay where he felt he was always home.

Cameron is HOME!! Nicole, Jon and their two young children were excited to adopt their first family dog. Little Cameron, with his sweet temperament and puppy energy, seemed like the right fit for a young, active family, so Nicole & Jon were eager to meet this sweetie! Naturally, it was a match as to meet Cameron is to love him! Nicole reports that the family simply adores their precious pup and he is settling in to the family routine. And thank you foster mom Leigh for caring for Cameron until his perfect forever home came along.

One-eyed Jack (Jackson) is HOME!! Jackson was adopted by Tiffany, a wonderful gal who knows the importance of rescuing and is a dedicated PPR volunteer. Jackson was placed with Tiffany and her roommate as a foster pooch but his charm made it impossible for Tiffany to let him go! When we got Jack, he had to have his eye removed but that didn’t stop him from finding his way into Tiffany’s heart.  Jackson hit the Jackpot as he has the devotion of Tiffany, all her friends & a big extended family! Another “foster failure” and we couldn’t be happier!! Jackson too!!

Sophie is HOME!! Brittany dreamed of just one thing for Christmas and that was a precious pooch to love and care for. Little Sophie was searching for a home to call her own so the timing was just right. Brittany says it's the most magical Christmas she's ever experienced. Her love for Sophie was immediate, she was sure she'd never seen a more precious pup in her life. Brittany has a large extended family who are just as excited about the new family addition. This little pooch will be spoiled by aunts, uncles, and many fur cousins in all shapes and sizes! Thank you Brittany for choosing adoption and thank you Val for providing Sophie with a wonderful start in foster care.

Tyson is HOME!! Thomas & Lori know a thing or two about Jack Russell Terriers. In fact they are proud parents to two of these fun-loving pups, Kirby & Lila. These 2 dogs became instant friends with Tyson when Tyson was in foster care with Tiffany. The 3 pups must have created quite an elaborate scheme to ensure that Tyson became a permanent resident in their home. It didn't take a lot of convincing as Thomas & Lori, & their son Mike, agreed that Tyson belonged with their family. Tyson is such a cool dude who blends right in to his new forever family. How amazing that a "senior" dog gets to spend the next years of his life surrounded by so much love, with a big dose of fun thrown in? Thank you foster mom Tiffany for introducing Tyson to his forever family, & big thanks Thomas, Lori, Mike, Kirby & Lila!

Orville is HOME!! Melissa &  Hayden hoped for a dog to call their own & Orville just couldn't wait to have a boy as his best pal! What a perfect match for a boy & a dog!! Orville, who now goes by the name Finn, will be so loved by Melissa & Hayden. Hayden has already helped train several other family dogs so he is up for the challenge of teaching Finn good house manners, as well as a lot of cool tricks. Orville, nka Finn, is such a cool dog & already well on his way to being a superstar in the training department. That leaves lots of time for fetch, chase, & other fun games with Hayden. Thank you Melissa & Hayden for choosing to adopt your newest family member! We look forward to updates on the latest & greatest cool moves by Finn!

Hanna and Nikki are HOME!! Don & Louise missed the love a fur friend in their home. Their daughter in law Jenny contacted PPR asking about this sweet poodle pair for her in laws. As Jenny assured us, Don & Louise have a lot of love to give! They proved that by adopting not one, but both of these  precious pups. Hanna & Nikki have never known life apart from one another so we waited for a home just like this, with double the love! Reports so far are that the girls are settling in nicely to their forever home, complete with lots of extended family who visit for playtime. Thank you foster mom Sue & forever parents Don & Louise for this doubly delightful adoption!

Teddy is HOME!! This precious poodle boy got the opportunity of a lifetime when adopted by Fernando and Fernando's pup Biscuit. Tiny little Biscuit had recently lost his puppy brother Champers after a long life of 11 years together. Fernando missed having a second dog as well and hoped that Teddy could fill that void. Teddy couldn't have been happier to have a new dad who will cherish him forever and a fur brother who, well, loves him like a brother! What a great match and thank you Michelle for fostering Teddy till he was adopted by Fernando and Biscuit!

Walter is HOME! Kay and Jay & their twin girls Lydia & Melaina have rescued and adopted several dogs through the years. These animal lovers are also one of our wonderful foster families. They had the joy of becoming the foster family to precious little Walter. Walter just loved his new home with Kay & Jay, so much so that he made a pact with foster pup siblings Shelly & Landon that he'd be a good baby brother if they'd just help convince mom & dad to let him stay! It must have worked as Kay, Jay & the girls knew that Walter, now known as Harper, had to be a permanent family member. What a happy day for Walter when he got the great news that he was in his forever home & would be ringing in 2013 with his awesome new family.

Cali is HOME!! Brian, April and their 2 children are so excited to have Cali join their very busy family! This beautiful girl loves to play with her new buddy Rylan. Two year old Rylan is doing his very best to keep up with Cali and so far he's doing a pretty good job! April reports that Cali has made herself right at home with her new family and loves all her toys, especially the ones that she gets to play fetch or tug of war with. Cali loves her new family so much. She feels so special that they chose her to be their adopted furever buddy. Thank you April and Brian for choosing adoption and thank you foster mom Sissy for all you do for the pups in your care.

Bear is HOME!! Alyson, David and their son felt the time was right to add a dog to their home! We know nothing completes a family like the addition of a pet, preferably one as adorable as Bear! Thank you Alyson and David, and your son, for providing this young pup with the forever happy home he dreamed of. And thank you Cristen for being an awesome foster mom!

Elfi is home!! We adopted Elfi to Heather, Joe and their two children Annie and David. This is a home so full of love and Elfi will receive plenty of it! Heather home schools her children so Elfi will have plenty of potty breaks while the children step outside for fresh air, to stretch their legs and play with Elfi. This pup needs lots of activity and these two children are going to keep Elfi happy, busy and tired! Thank you Deb for fostering this little girl and thank you Heather, Joe, Annie and David for rescuing her!

Linky Loo is Home!! He has joined the ranks of those lucky pups that go into foster care and never leave! Jill & Sylvia applied to be foster parents to a dog needing temporary shelter.  Linky needed lots of TLC & Sylvia was just the person to provide him with some much needed love & lap time. So, as the story goes, Linky was in foster care just long enough to call himself a permanent family member. Linky's foster home became his forever home! Thank you Sylvia, Jill, Fred & fur brother Scrappy Doo for being rescue heroes!

Buffy is HOME!! Dewey and Janet applied to PPR to adopt a dog, shortly after losing their beloved MollyB due to Cushings disease. MollyB was the best dog imaginable and while Dewey and Janet initially thought they would adopt a young dog, they spotted beautiful Buffy & felt she needed them the most. Sweet Buffy, at 10 years old & with vision issues, might be considered less adoptable than the spunky young dogs. Nevertheless, something told them that Buffy deserved a wonderful forever home for Christmas so they wasted no time meeting foster mom Jacky to make the adoption final. Buffy had the good fortune of not only being loved by Jacky, but now by her forever parents Dewey & Janet. They plan to make every day seem like Christmas for this sweet girl. Jacky, Dewey & Janet are true rescue angels and we thank you for your amazing devotion to beautiful princess Buffy.

Mabel is HOME!! Salina had been hoping to find a precious little companion to love and spoil. Choosing rescue was the only way to go for Salina as she hoped a little pup in need would find comfort in Salina's home. Salina chose Mabel and it seems that Mabel was just waiting for her forever mom to arrive. Mabel must have known that this was the start of something very special as she eagerly went to new mom Salina, letting her know she was ready to start their exciting new journey together. Thank you so much Salina and thank you foster mom Janeen for all the love you gave Mabel in foster care.

Lucky is HOME!! His name says it all because Lucky was chosen to be the newest member of this awesome human and dog family. Torey, William & Zach love dogs & with 2 pups already in the home, a third would round things out nicely! Pups Buffy and Kirby were happy to share their space with another fur brother.  Zach is so excited to have a dog to call his own & Kirby is super stoked to have a pup mate to play with. Mr. Lucky has many adventures awaiting him with his forever family, including trips to the family beach condo. Yes, Lucky is very lucky & he deserves every bit of the good life ahead. Thanks Torey, William & Zach for choosing adoption. And thanks once again to foster mom Rose.

Cupid is HOME!! Karla and her children have always loved their cats, as well as the little rabbit in residence! Adding a pooch to the mix seemed like the next best step. Karla was fortunate to be friends with PPR foster mom Kelly, who just happened to be fostering the sweet and adorable little Cupid. It didn't take long for Karla to realize that she would love to add Cupid to her family. Karla's son and daughter were eager for their newest rescue pet as well. Cupid is doing well in her new home, loving all the humans who are spoiling her just as she deserves. Thanks Kelly and Karla for making sure this wonderful pup has her wonderful forever home.

Bebe is HOME!!  Ben and Joyce are snow birds who enjoy splitting their time between Michigan and sunny Florida. They have a large extended family, including their daughter Patti, who enjoys the snowbird life as well! This large family wanted to make Bebe a part of their lives, giving her more love than she could ever imagine. Bebe will have Ben, Joyce, Patti, and many other siblings, grandchildren and even great grandchildren adoring her. Not to mention a few fur cousins for regular play dates. Thank you so much Ben & Joyce for adding Bebe to your loving family. And thank you foster mom Vicki for loving another sweet dog in your care.

Cuddles is HOME!! Kimberly applied to PPR asking to foster an older dog, one who might not be as adoptable as the young pups. She was open to taking in any dog that needed her most. Little Cuddles is a senior lady who also happens to be blind. Kimberly didn't bat an eye at Cuddles special needs. She made sure that Cuddles felt loved and welcomed in her home. Kimberly and her young daughter didn't ask for "perfect" but as it turned out, Cuddles is perfect. Perfect for this family that is. Cuddles joins her lovable Doberman sister and several cats. This foster to forever story is one that makes us all smile and realize that every little dog deserves a second chance. Thank you so much Kimberly!

Yogi is HOME!! Tisha & Sam love dogs and were super excited to adopt an active, fun loving pooch to join their family. Their current dog Morgan is a sweet laid back senior girl who loves everyone she meets, both people and pups alike.  Lucky little Yogi is all settled in to his new forever home, and Tisha reports that he is becoming Morgan's new 4-legged best pal. And how cool is it that Tisha loves to go jogging so Yogi gets tons of exercise! Then when he gets home all tuckered out, he gets to chill with sweet pup sister Morgan. Thank you so much Tisha & Sam for choosing adoption! Big thanks to foster mom Terri for providing another dog a wonderful temporary home.

Pepe is HOME!! Carol and Leon have loved two little pommies in the past, the last one being their beloved AJ who passed away in February. They weren't sure they were ready to adopt again but when they saw Pepe's face, well, that everything changed! He melted their hearts & Carol was certain he needed to be with them to celebrate this Christmas and many more to come. Pepe already has a new jacket, rhinestone collar and bright red harness. We bet he has a lot of toys too, not to mention a stocking ready to be filled on Christmas Eve. Thank you Carol and Leon for giving this precious little fella a wonderful forever home and thanks foster mom Kathy for all you did for Pepe while he was in your care.

Ponki is HOME!! It's smiles all around for Carl, Ruth and the oh so adorable Ponki! This bundle of joy has found his forever home just in time to watch the tree go up, and smell the awesome scents coming from the kitchen! Wow, what perfect timing for this awesome pup! Carl and Ruth have already reported that Ponki has made himself right at home and they simply adore him. We suspect Santa will be extra generous to Ponki this year. After all, Ponki has been such a good boy, his foster mom Amanda just adored him, and now he shows his gratitude to Carl and Ruth everyday with extra sloppy kisses & tail wags. Thanks Carl and Ruth for adopting Ponki & making his dreams of a safe, secure forever home come true.

Lady is HOME!! Linda and Phyllis loved their shih Tzu  Harpo, who passed away in September. Harpo lived a long, happy 15 years  with Linda and Phyllis. These ladies weren't used to having a home without dogs so made the decision to adopt a dog they could love just as they loved all their previous dogs. Lady has now gone home with Linda and Phyllis where she will be the lucky recipient of all that adoration. Lady is thrilled to be the one and only fur member of the family as that means more treats, pets, walks and play time! Thank you Phyliis and Linda for choosing adoption when adding a pup to your home. And thank you Faith for your devotion to Lady while she was in your care.

Sonny is Home! Little Sonny came into PPR care after being abandoned by his previous owner. He was almost instantly scooped up by Angela as he seemed to be exactly the right fit for her home. Angela had been looking for a small dog to adopt, a little fella who would be a wonderful companion for both herself and her mom. Angela fell in love with Sonny and knew he would make a perfect little lap dog for her mom.  Sonny is one of those pups who didn't ask for much, just a pair of arms to hold him close, keeping him safe and secure. Thank you Angela for giving this little guy all he ever wanted, a warm home to call his own.

Oliver is HOME!! Christine is settled into her new home and job so the timing was just right to add a 4 legged friend! She loves the terrier breeds and was sure Oliver would be a wonderful match to her lifestyle. Oliver is super happy to be in a home where he gets a lot of exercise and a lot of opportunities to play with other pups on regular outings to nearby parks. As this picture shows, he's quite the man about town! Thank you Christine for choosing to adopt a dog and for providing this sweet boy with a forever home.

Snuggles is HOME!!  Just as his name implies, Snuggles has snuggled his way into his forever home. He's got a wonderful new set of parents, Pat and Richard, and an adorable fur sister named Daisy, who welcomed Snuggles with open paws! Daisy is a rescued pup too, so she's happy to share her home with another dog needing the safety, security and devotion of a good family. She knows Pat and Richard have enough love for both her and Snuggles. And hey, she thinks Snuggles is kinda cute so it's all good! Thank you Pat, Richard & Miss Daisy for adding another rescue to the home. And thanks foster mom Katina for bringing this great match together.

Sal is HOME!! Peri missed the joy of a little dog to come home to after work. Her 2 pug pups, Posey and Pal, passed away a while back, and she felt the time was right to adopt a new companion. Peri is a new resident of Florida, having moved from Massachusetts where she was active in fostering for a rescue group there. She knows first-hand what wonderful pets a rescued dog can be. Sal, with his big soulful eyes & his happy go lucky spirit, stole Peri's heart! He's such a lovable fella and is even happier that his forever mom found him just in time to ring in a new year. Thank you Peri for choosing adoption and thank you foster mom Cynthia, you rock!

Adele is HOME!! Rene' and Ray are part of the club whose motto is "two dogs double your fun"! This family recently adopted Hallee from PPR, knowing that they wanted to give her a fur sibling to grow up with. Once they got Halle settled into their home, they inquired about Adele, hoping she would be a good match for them and for Halle. All seems to be just right in this newly expanded family of five. Rene', Ray and their 7 year old son love having these 2 fur bundles to play with. And these pup sisters will surely become best friends forever, providing their family with many years of unconditional puppy love, not to mention hours of entertainment! Thank you rescue angels Rene' and Ray for adopting 2 pups and changing their lives forever. Big thanks as well to Johana for being such a wonderful foster mom to Adele.

Panda is HOME!!  Sandra & David are active retirees who love sharing their lives with their pup Casey. Casey goes everywhere with them so it made sense to bring a furry friend along for the adventures. Sandra fell in love with Panda & was hopeful Panda would want to come along for the ride...literally, in their RV! This couple & their pup spend part of the year on the road. It's a great life & Panda will be spoiled right along with Casey. Panda couldn't imagine a better way to spend her retirement years than seeing the USA. Thank you Sandra, David & Casey for welcoming Panda into your home. Special thanks to foster mom Jacky who literally saved this pup's life with her care & love. You are all rescue angels!

Bellita and Eli are HOME!! Julie and Jimmy are animal lovers and rescue volunteers. They also happen to be one of PPR's most wonderful foster families. Both Bellita and Eli were placed into foster care with Julie, Jimmy, their son and their other pets. The mix was just so right that both of these precious pups were never going to have to move again. Julie realized very quickly that both Eli and Bellita had stolen a piece of her heart. These lucky pups join fur siblings Sassy and Keifer, rounding out the mix of dogs in Julie's home. We are so grateful to Julie and Jimmy for being rescue angels to so many animals, including pups, cats and horses alike. And the animals you save thank you as well.

Robbie is HOME!!  This wonderful dog drew the winning lottery ticket when he was adopted by Lisa, Eric and their 3 children! This young, adorable pup wasn't picky but hey, when he heard he was meeting this awesome family, he did all he could to win their hearts.  It definitely worked for him and now this lucky pup has a forever mom & dad, and those really cool humans Tyler, Samantha, & Ryan to play with him. We at PPR, along with Robbie are so grateful to this family for saving a dog & giving him such a great life of love and joy! Thank you foster mom Priya for fostering this sweet pup.

Porkchop is HOME!!  Tara and Bryant were ready for another dog to love following the passing of their big dog Bear and the not so big dog Chico. This couple has rescued a Huskey and a chihuahua so it's all about giving a dog in need a forever home. Tara contacted us to say that Porkchop's eyes had melted her heart & she knew she they were the home to love him forever. When an adopter feels that connection, there is no looking back. Tara & Bryant adopted PC & will make sure the story his eyes tell will be one of joy, love & devotion. Thank you Tara & Bryant for choosing rescue. Big thanks to Jennifer who loved & spoiled Porkchop in foster care.

Halle is HOME!! Ray, Rene' & their young son recently lost both of their dogs to complications of old age. Both dogs were rescue pups this family took in & loved for many years. They felt ready to adopt another dog to love.  It's been a while since they had a puppy in the home but that energy & silliness is just what this family needed! And what 7 year old boy doesn't want a puppy to play with & teach lots of cool tricks? Halle will be showered with attention, love, & she promises to shower her forever family with puppy kisses & adoration! Thank you Ray & Rene' for choosing adoption. And thank you foster mom Terri for all the TLC you provided Halle.

Skipper is HOME!!  Kay and Russell LOVE yorkies, so much so that they asked if they could foster teeny tiny Skipper (all 3 and 1/2 pounds of him) when he was brought into PPR care. We readily said yes as Kay and Russell are former PPR adopters, with a grand total of 4 pups who would readily welcome Skipper into their fold. As the story goes, within a week Skipper no longer had a foster home, but a forever home with Kay, Russell, Nemo, Peanut, Beemer and Bella! He even has a new name, Piper! Piper loves his new family and his family loves him. Thank you Kay and Russell for falling in love with Piper and giving him a safe, secure and loving home to call his own.

Ivy is HOME!!  Ivy didn't have to go far or wait very long to find her forever home. She was already there from the time Paula took her into foster care. Paula is one of our wonderful foster moms & former PPR adopters. She adopted theblue eyed Mr. Wyatt last year, joining Shih Tzu brother Luca. These two pups are so grateful for all they have that they willingly share their space & their mom's love with other pups who come into foster care. Ivy was welcomed into the home with open arms....and wagging tails, and within a few days Paula knew that this little sweetheart had found a forever home. Paula now has a teensy little girl to spoil right along with the boys! Thank you Paula, Wyatt and Luca for welcoming Ivy into your lives. She will be forever grateful!

Journey is HOME!! Ruth applied to adopt a pup who would be her loving companion, even a dog who was a few years older, that was OK with her. Journey has the most beautiful eyes that simply look into your soul. He stole Ruth's heart with his easy going temperament, laid back personality and overall peacefulness. This pup came to PPR very shy and scared. It will take time for him to come out of his shell but with Ruth he will learn to trust, and we are sure his prior fears will finally fade so he can just be a dog, safe and secure. Updates from Ruth have been super positive. His new name is now Scooter and Ruth reports that every day they make a little more progress! Thank you Ruth for giving this middle aged dogs a brand new beginning. And thanks Michelle for caring for and fostering this sweet pup.

Boo is HOME!!  Laura and her mom Margaret have several pets between them and Boo is now another lucky member of this extended family of humans and pups! And thank you foster mom Stephanie for giving Boo her fresh start in foster care.

Reuben is HOME!!  Denise & Gabe, along with their 2 young children, were looking forward to adding a pup to their family. The adorable Reuben caught their eye as it seemed he was just the one for them! Reuben was 100% up to the task of being this family's first dog, even promising to love them unconditionally forever. That's the wonderful thing about dogs, they love back just as they are loved. With 4 devoted family members to play, pet, and snuggle with him, Reuben will forever show his gratitude with tail wags, sloppy kisses & games of fetch. Thank you so much Denise & Gabe for choosing to adopt your newest family member. What a wonderful gift for your children & for  Reuben. Thanks as well to foster mom Victoria for providing a wonderful temporary home for Reuben on his way to his forever family.

Chelsea is HOME!! Connie applied to adopt a pooch who loves children, other dogs and would love HER! We knew that could be arranged & since Chelsea loves children, pups of all sizes, & especially her "person", Chelsea was naturally the perfect match for Connie. Any dog lucky enough to go home with Connie has a lifetime of spoiling ahead! Connie was a dog groomer for many years & always had dogs in her home. Since the loss of her beloved lab, it took awhile to adopt again, but she realized the time was finally right & Chelsea was the right fit. This lucky pup gets Connie as forever mom as well as a wonderful extended family of granddaughters, grandsons & grand-dogs who already adore her! Thank you Connie for giving Chelsea, now known as Gracie, so much to be grateful for. And thank you foster mom Priya, you are a rescue angel.

Jetta is HOME!! Barbara was terribly sad since the loss of her Chihuahua, her precious dog who was a part of her life for over 12 years. Her pup was her constant companion so Barbara knew it was the right decision to adopt another little dog who needed her love. Barbara has a large extended family, including many grand and great  grandchildren, who are all excited to shower Jetta with love!  Sweet Jetta soaks up attention so the more arms to snuggle, the better to her. Jetta is the sweetest little girl who loves to dance for treats, loves to play dress up, and absolutely adores a warm snuggle with her people! Thank you so much Barbara for opening your heart to another pup. Hopefully Jetta will be just the girl to bring a big smile to your face. And thank you foster mom Sherry, and your boys, for spoiling little Jetta while she was in your home.

Miley is HOME!!  Rachel and her pup Tank (all 14 pounds of him!) lucked into an introduction of Miley when visiting Miley's foster mom Molly. Molly just happens to be Rachel's friend so simply put, this little foster pup was in the right spot at the right time! What a lucky break for Miley who didn't have to wait long to go from foster to forever home. Once Rachel met this sweet little girl, she was sure Miley would be a great addition to her life, as well as give Tank a lively little fur sister to play with. This is such a great fit for Miley and we are so grateful to foster mom Molly for being matchmaker for Tank and Miley! And thank you forever mom Rachel for being a rescue angel.

Franklin is HOME!! Franklin made sure that when foster mom Arielle brought him to her home that he did all the right things to win her heart. No way was this smart little pooch gonna let this wonderful mom be anything but his mom forever. They say that dogs choose their owners and that's what Franklin did. Arielle was totally on board with that decision as well. All it took was a few days with Franklin, her very first foster pup, and well, you know the rest! Arielle knew she was the best forever mommy for this pup so Franklin officially went from foster pup to forever pup. We love these stories because we know that our fosters make amazing dog owners. Hooray for Franklin who's life went from rags to riches when Arielle's volunteer spirit became a lifetime of love.

Luke is HOME!!  James & Carolina love their dog Gordo, & equally loved their sweet dog Emma who recently passed away. This couple wanted a little buddy for Gordo so they applied to meet Luke, one of the sweetest pups we've ever met. Little Luke didn't have to work hard to win the hearts of James & Carolina. All he had to do was be himselfas that in itself is simply irresistible. Their little family is complete once again & best of all, pup Gordo has a new bud to pal around with doing all those fun doggy things that dogs like to do! Thanks so much Carolina & James for adding a rescue pooch to your home. Thanks as well to foster mom Barb who loved little Luke like her own.

Frenchie is HOME!!  Julie & Michael experienced a tough loss when their beloved rescue dog Sophie passed away much too soon. The pain of losing Sophie was so great, but Julie felt her heart would heal best by giving another needy dog a home. Frenchie is so beautiful & so loving that she simply stole Julie's heart at first glance. Julie & Michael adopted Frenchie & now report that Frenchie just might love daddy Mike the best.....perhaps because he sneaks her treats! Thank you so much for allowing your hearts to be open to another dog who needed your special brand of unconditional love. And thanks to awesome foster mom Collette for welcoming Frenchie into your home.

Hailey is HOME!!  Patricia and Scott have always loved their labs, and they have had quite a few through the years, all wonderful rescues. Their chocolate lab Cole had recently passed away at the ripe old age of 14 years. Pat and Scott missed their beloved dog so much and the house felt so empty without a big four legged, tail wagging fur baby to greet them every day after work. Hailey is such a fun loving, sweet girl and she needed a home where she could get a lot of time and attention from her people. Pat and Scott can definitely provide that and a whole lot more! This lovable big dog will be spoiled and loved all the days of her life. Thank you so much Patricia and Scott for giving Hailey her forever home filled with love.

Riley is HOME!!  Dawn and Chuck missed having a dog in their lives and wanted to give an abandoned dog a second chance at a forever home. The lucky recipient of all their love is Riley, who is just overjoyed that she is finally "home". This sweet pup was left at the shelter through no fault of her own. When Dawn and Chuck came along to offer her love and security, she loved them right back with the unconditional love that only a dog can give. Now that she's living in The Villages, we have no doubt that this pup has many new friends, both 4 and 2 legged, who give Miss Riley their love, belly rubs, and yummy treats. Thank you Dawn and Chuck for adding Riley to your lives. And thank you Tina for fostering this sweet pup.

Their current pack comes in all shapes & sizes so Rasta will blend right in with the pups, both large & small. Tiffy, their tiny Maltese was a bit out sized next to her retriever & heeler siblings so a tiny pommie is a welcomed addition! Every dog in this house has his or her own bed but they get to share a big fenced yard, not to mention the love of their wonderful mom & dad. We're so happy sweet Rasta has a forever home with Rita, John & fur siblings Tia, Lady & Tiffany. And big thanks to foster mom Sandy for always going the extra mile for the pups in your care.

Jill contacted PPR, hopeful that Lacey would be a good match for their home. This tiny, active puppy needed dedicated parents who would teach her all the basic skills to become a well-mannered little lady. Of course, she needed tons of love too and these were all the things that Jill and Shadi could provide. They are overjoyed to be Lacey's new parents and look forward to years and years filled with silly puppy antics, not to mention the unconditional love that only a pooch can give.  Thank you Jill and Shadi for choosing adoption and thank you so much foster mom Misty. You and your family were key in giving this precious pup such a great start to her forever happy beginning.

Sasha is HOME!!  Fred and Teresa are dog lovers who know the joys of having 2 dogs in the home. They were without a buddy for Jack, their precious one eyed Shih Tzu they had rescued from a shelter. Jack needed a special "lady" in his life and Sasha, the sweet, well-mannered belle that she is, surely would be perfect lifelong companion. Cujo is HOME!!  Deborah and Chuck lost their beloved pup Blake following a series of tough illnesses. Blake's presence was missed in the home and especially with Cooper, their fun loving golden doodle. Chuck and Deborah figured what would be better than adding a little dog to pal around with a big dog? That's when Cujo came along and filled the void. Cujo is happy to finally be home after a rough road that included a stop at a shelter. This sweet boy just wanted someone to care for him completely and love him unconditionally. That's just what Deborah and Chuck are prepared to do. Thank you to this couple for opening their hearts to another pup. And thank you Diane for fostering Cujo during his stay with PPR.

Skippy is HOME!!  All of our adopters have big hearts; after all they provide homes to homeless pups. But Marie & Erich struck us as extra special because having just lost their beloved Shih Tzu Jaffe after battling many chronic conditions, they were open & willing to adopting a dog who might have a few extra needs. Skippy touched their hearts as he reminded them so much of Jaffe. Skippy has found his angels who will provide for all his needs but just as importantly, they will give him all the love he craves. He's an amazing dog who found his oh so amazing forever family. Marie will surely stock up on green beans, Skippy's favorite treat! OK, so maybe he'd rather have bacon but he'll dance & twirl for a bean too!! Thank you Marie & Erich, you are true rescue angels. And thank you so much foster mom Terri. Skippy misses you but thanks you for giving him his great start to his amazing years ahead.

Cody is HOME!!  Amy, Joe & Julia are repeat adopters from PPR, something we love! Ryder is HOME!! Lynn was grieving the loss of her wonderful pup MacDuff, a dog she adopted & adored until he passed away from cancer. MacDuff left a legacy of love that allowed Lynn to open her heart to another homeless dog. Like many adopters, Lynn had the capacity to love again. Ryder is so grateful Lynn chose him & will surely take up loving his forever mom just as MacDuff did before him. Ryder gets to go to work with Lynn every day at her gift shop so he's practicing his role as official greeter. Thank you Lynn for adopting Ryder & thank you Julie for giving another lucky dog a stop at Julie's amazing foster home!

Amos is HOME!!  Christine is mom to a wonderful Schnauzer boy named Joey. Joey is getting up in years, 15 to be exact, & Christine thought it was time to add a younger pup to the family. Little Amos is such a ball of adorableness that Christine found him irresistible. He's a smart boy too who will surely eagerly learn the house rules from big brother Joey. Christine met Amos & there was an immediate connection. This little guy fell asleep in Christine's daughter's arms, a true testament to a dog who feels safe & secure. Thank you Christine for adopting another dog who needed a forever home. And big thanks to Ruthie, foster mom extraordinaire.

Tate is HOME!!  Once again a PPR dog hit the foster family jackpot! What could be better than being loved so much by your "temporary" family that they adopt you, making you theirs forever? That's just what happened for Tate, who came to PPR shy & scared, but was lucky enough to be embraced by Susan & Jay & their children. Not only that, Tate joined pups GeeGee, Sophie & Rex, rounding out a full house of human & furry love! Tate stole this family's hearts & they couldn't imagine saying good bye. That was A-OK with Tate! He didn't want to go & is absolutely thrilled that he's home forever. Thank you Susan  & Jay for loving this pup forever.

Choxie is HOME!! This teeny, tiny bundle of love is off to his new home with Rachel and Charles. Choxie captured Rachel's heart and she couldn't wait to meet this adorable little peanut. This couple enjoys the outdoors and staying active so Choxie is raring and ready to keep up with his proud new forever mom and dad. The good news is that when he wears out, he's just tiny enough to be scooped up and tucked into a sling or simply a set of ready arms. This tiny boy also has a Very big brother to keep up with now. Lab brother Jasper promises to take it easy on the new kid and show Choxie all the ropes. Thank you Rachel for reaching out to adopt this little pup and add him to your pack. And thank you foster mom Vicki. You were wonderful with this little guy and he will never, ever forget you.

Buster is HOME!! Sandra spotted Buster and knew it was true love. You see, Sandra lost her sweet boy Spike about a year ago and she wasn't sure she could possibly ever love a dog again as Spike was her rock through some mighty tough life events. Fortunately, Sandra's son encouraged her to open her heart to another little dog, maybe even another min pin like Spike. She agreed and the timing couldn't have been better for Buster. He's an adorable, funny, loveable dude who was just meant to be in his forever home with Sandra. This little guy has already brought laughter and joy back in the home, and Sandra is just sure that Spike approves of his mom's choice. Sandra, we are so grateful that you decided to give a homeless dog a new chance at a great life. And thank you foster mom Angela for giving this pup a loving foster home.

Daisy is HOME!!  Beautiful Daisy needed a calm home where she would get a lot of attention. Thankfully Helen stepped in to adopt this sweet pup, ready and eager to give her as much TLC as Miss Daisy can stand! Helen is retired so any dog she adopted would get tons of attention, but with the understanding that time & love must be shared with Helen's sweet pup Leo. According to Helen these 2 pups are getting along famously, following one another through the house, cozying up on her bed and generally becoming best buds. Thank you Helen for adding another sweetheart to your home and thanks to Leo for being an awesome brother. Big thanks as always to foster mom Barb for once again opening your home to a needy dog.

Bentley is HOME!! A chance meeting became a new beginning for little Bentley. This fluffy poodle boy was enjoying an outdoor festival with his foster mom while also making quite an impression on the crowd around him. This little guy made such an impression on Mario and Joy that as soon as they returned home to Miami, they inquired about adopting Bentley. The smile on new Dad Mario's face says it al! He loves his awesome little buddy, as does new Mommy Joy. Bentley is surely soaking up the good life in the Miami sunshine. Thank you fosters Kellie and Tomi for helping make this wonderful adoption complete.

Emmy is HOME!! Emmy, now known as Ruthie, is finally just where she was always meant to be....in her foster turned forever home with Theresa, David and their children Jacob, Tonia and Mia. Not only is Ruthie surrounded by all this human love, she also has 4 furry siblings to run, play and snuggle with. Could this be doggie heaven? Ruthie thinks so! Thank you so much to this wonderful family who stepped up to provide temporary shelter to dogs seeking a forever home. And as sometimes happens when a dog goes into foster care, he or she steals the human's hearts and never leaves. That's OK with us because we know our fosters love their pups to pieces. We couldn't be happier that Ruthie is home forever and surrounded in all this abundance of love.

Dominic is HOME!! Sweet Dominic is the happiest little pup on earth today as he settles into his wonderful forever home with Grace, Walter & pup brother Benjie. Katie Bug is Home!! Elizabeth and Jeff love dogs, big and small. And they have big hearts for rescues. Elizabeth and Jeff felt that Katie Bug, with her big heart and happy doggy smile, would make a wonderful addtion to their home. Flash, their big chocolate lab, agreed that a pup mate would be a nice idea and he'd gladly share his space, fluffy beds and big fenced yard with his new furry sister. It's going to be a great life for Katie! Ajax is HOME!! Kim and Scott enjoy the outdoors, in fact they spend most of their time enjoying nature with their pups along for the adventures. Lucky little Ajax joins this active couple and their 2 dogs Nahla and Molly. Nahla, who is a young Chihuahua pooch, wanted a buddy to race around and be silly with. She defiantly met her match with Ajax as they have become best friends forever. And when the antics are over and they are fully worn out, these 2 pups snuggle up for a long comfy snooze. Thank you so much Kim and Scott for rescuing another pack member. Ajax sure appreciates being part of the fun! And thank you foster dad Diego for giving this pup his fresh start!

Summer is HOME!! Erin and Dave adore their big dog Lexi and wanted to adopt a friend for her, as well as another furry companion for themselves. Summer is such a great fit for this family, who will enjoy long, lively walks with their 2 furry beauties. This duo of doggie love will surely get lots of attention from passersby including requests for a sloppy kiss or friendly paw shake. Thank you Erin and Dave, and son Eli for adding this cutie to your home! And thank you Taylor for fostering Miss Summer.

Barkley is HOME!! Kathy & Rick love dogs and have had several through the years. So naturally it felt strange to be without a dog to dote on. They took their time watching & waiting for the right fit. Rick is retired & wanted a dog to hang out with him during the day, and just generally be his little buddy. When a match came along, they were sure they would know it & that's when Barkley entered the picture. This lucky pup spends his days getting to know his new surroundings, complete with big yard, pool & lots of cozy dog beds when playtime ends. Thank you so much Rick &Kathy for giving Barkley a fresh start on his grand new life! And thank you Amanda for another wonderful job as foster mommy to a needy pup.

Bandit-Fritz is HOME!! Jim and Jan were grieving the loss of their beloved pup Pirate, who passed away after 14 wonderful, love-filled years. While no dog is irreplaceable, Jan and Jim couldn't imagine life without a dog to love. They wanted to rescue a pooch who needed them just as much as they needed another furbaby. Bandit, now known simply as Fritz, gets the honor of following in Pirate's footsteps which means he'll go on many new, exciting adventures, swim in their pool and learn some mad agility skills. Tyga is HOME!! Andrew's family raised Pekingnese throughout his life & he too has always had at least 1 or 2 of this precious breed to call his own. His current peke Jade was lonely after the loss of her fur brother who lived to the ripe old age of 14. Andrew was instantly drawn to Tyga & couldn't wait to make him a permanent part of his family. These two are a matching pair, right down to the one missing eye. Fred & Teresa adopted Jack, their one eyed shih Tzu, from a shelter. Imagine their surprise upon spotting Dolly, who looked as if she could be Jack’s twin! It seemed natural to add Dolly to their home so they wasted no time meeting her. Sadie was a special girl who couldn’t be replaced, but thankfully Ruthie & Frank had room in their hearts to love another dog. When we explained that Cuddles & Panda knew life only as a bonded pair, Ruthie & Frank agreed the pups shouldn't be separated... so they adopted both! This double dose of love is just what Ruthie & Frank needed to mend their hearts since loosing Sadie. Thanks so much to these forever parents (& adorable granddaugher), & foster mom Victoria for keeping this pair of pups happily together forever!

He was scooped up by our volunteer, taken to foster mom Faith, and from there introduced to Charles & Elaine. This retired couple was so excited to have a dog to raise having lost their last dog when he passed away after a long life of 16 years. Frodo is one of those awesome success stories as he was just where he needed to be for the fateful meeting with his new forever parents. Carolyn adores her new buddy, reporting that she loves having this guy in her life, following her around the house and teaching him all about his new world. Thank you Carolyn for choosing to adopt and thank you foster mom Samantha for helping another dog on his way to his forever home!!

Keyser is HOME!! Judy thought it would be wonderful to give her good natured toy poodle Riley a buddy to play with. Riley enjoys the company of other dogs so a full time brother would be just the ticket! Keyser, who is about the same age & size as Riley, seemed like a perfect fit. These two pups could actually pass as brothers & have already established themselves as best buds for life! Keyser has all he dreamed of with new forever mom Judy, buddy Riley & the grand children popping in for play time. Thank you Judy for choosing to adopt Riley’s new friend and thank you foster moms Diva & Adora for loving this pup while in your care.

Beckett is HOME!! Marla is not only a dog lover, but a dog groomer, foster mom and awesome dog mommy. She has two small dogs of her own so when she decided to foster Beckett, the test would be to see how he got along with her tiny 4 pound and 10 pound dogs. Beckett must have made himself right at home with his foster mom Marla, son Connor and 2 tiny canine siblings because his foster home is now his forever home. Beckett will get to occasionally go to work at Woof Gang Bakery with mom Marla, where he can check out all the yummy goodies on the shelves (and probably sneak a few too!). We love it when our wonderful fosters fall in love with their temporary guest, making them theirs forever. Thank you Marla for all you do for your pups, PPR and now for Beckett.

They also know that puppies are bundles of fun providing endless entertainment with their antics & exploration. This couple is so excited to have a new family member join their lives & we thank them for choosing to adopt! Hewey promises to give lots of puppy kisses in appreciation as well! Of course BIG thanks to fosters Jeanine & Ron. Your devotion to the pups is unmatched.
Bodie is HOME!! Bodie the Dane came to PPR thinking he was just another small dog. We wanted him to feel right at home so foster mom Val pretended she didn’t notice that Bodie weighed 140 pounds, drooled a LOT, and ate like a horse. Fortunately, new forever mom Beth happens to know a bit about Great Danes & totally “gets it” that Bodie thinks he’s just another piece of furniture! Beth, Peter and the girls have welcomed Bodie into their home with very open arms! And Bodie, who just happens to love the ladies, is right at home with his new forever and truly awesome family. Thank you Val & Casey for fostering this lil guy, and thanks to this wonderful family for making him their forever pup.

Heston is HOME!! Cari was excited to share her life with a dog, knowing she was settled and ready to devote the time and attention a dog deserves. Cari hoped when she spotted Heston that he would soon become her loyal companion. It was definitely meant to be as evidenced on this happy dog’s face! He'll have a fenced yard where he can practice some mad fetch skills or play crazy games of chase! Marjorie & Max chose to adopt rather than buy their puppy & for that Henry will be forever grateful. Thank you Bryce, Chris & foster Patty for ensuring that this awesome pup has a brand new amazing life!
Izzy is HOME!! Leslee & Summer celebrated their birthday weekend by giving an abandoned dog the ultimate gift, being Adopted! Izzy was the lucky recipient of this special gift when Leslee & Summer chose to adopt her as a gift to one another. Better than diamonds or gold, this pup will bring a lifetime of love. Miss Izzy is making herself at home with her new moms & pup sibling Pebbles. Thank you Leslee & Summer for making Izzy your second adopted pup. Special thanks to foster mom Sam for being the first stop on Izzy’s journey to her forever home.

Chewie, in the meantime, was secretly hoping for a brother to play with so this was a perfect match! Just imagine the antics of these two puppies when they get going! Donna will have her hands full but she’s got the patience, energy & love to give Chewie & his brother Sam. Unsure of when she’d be ready for another dog, Rose was taking her time to let her heart heal. However, as we often see in rescue, it is not unusual for the dog to find his family. That’s exactly what happened when Bentley met Rose. Maybe it was his sweet face and puppy kisses that convinced Rose that she could give up her heart to another family dog. Thank you Rose and Danilo for adopting & loving Bentley just as you loved Austin. We know you have many new memories to make together!

The only problem in this house was the human/dog ratio being a bit off balance. The 3 humans had to jockey for time with 2 dogs. Hmmm, the only way to solve this dilemma was to adopt another pup!  Taz was more than happy to do the honors of joining this great family. Well, Taz, Bernie and Mac now have Carol, Daniel, and Carol’s Dad, pictured here, to share their love and their laps. Thanks so much Carol and Dan. You proved there is always room for one more dog. And thanks so much foster mom Christen, Taz will never forget you!

Cuddles is HOME!! Just as his name implies, Cuddles is a love bug, just a sweet, affectionate, happy boy. Nancy met him and knew he was the dog for her! He’s simply irresistible! Cuddles is one lucky dude to have Nancy as his new mom and a brother to love him as well. Nancy and her son will spoil him just as they spoil their other 2 pups, Camaro and Sheba. With kids and dogs to play with, Cuddles has everything any young poodle could hope for.....family, fun, and lots of cuddling! Thank you Nancy for giving this sweet boy the chance to start his forever life all over again with your family!

Pebbles is HOME!!  Julie and William are empty nesters since all the kids are grown and moved out. That of course leaves them with tons of love & time to give their pets! Their little Yorkie Lucy has love to spare as well and really wanted a playmate. Pebbles was the perfect match for this family! Sisters Lucy and Pebbles will have loads of fun romping in the back yard, then snuggling up to Mom and Dad. What a great life Pebbles has ahead of her! Thank you so much Julie and William for adopting this sweet girl. Thanks as well to foster mom Liz for helping with another happy ending!

Sophie is HOME!! Scott and his family saw the trio of chi/dachund pups on our website and wanted to meet them all! They fell in love with  Sophie and she’s now living her forever life with a busy family who will spoil her in the manner she deserves. Having raised puppies in the past, this family is up to the task, ready to provide the training, love and patience a puppy requires. We are so happy Sophie was saved, fostered and rescued! Thank you Scott and family for being the rescuers and thank you Jeanine for loving all the puppies in foster care.

Dylan is HOME!!  This Schnauzer pup is so handsome that we knew he would be a very popular guy! Ann and Bill saw Dylan and wasted no time applying for him to become their own. Having had several dogs through the years, this couple was very ready for another dog to love. Now retired, Ann and Bill have the time to give Dylan all the attention he craves. And with a fenced back yard, Dylan gets to do the Schnauzer 500 around the property! Thank you Deb for fostering Dylan.  He truly loved being in your home and is grateful to you for the new life he will share with Ann and Bill.  Dylan has a lot of caring folks in his life now and the best mommy and daddy he's ever had!

Jack is HOME!!  Paul and Wendy are parents to two active teenagers and one terrier pup named Scout. This family specifically requested an energetic dog and Jack fills the bill!  Jack is 60 lbs of fun, ready for a family who will keep him busy!  Paul, Wendy and the kids are looking forward to a lot of exercise with this guy, including chasing tennis balls and tug-o-war games. We so appreciate this wonderful, responsible family for rescuing a dog instead of buying from a pet store.  It's educated families like this that will put an end to puppy mills!  Thank you Paul and Wendy for giving Jack the home he's been waiting for!

Zoe is HOME!! Lauren wanted a dog of her own to love.  Her mom and dad have a big dog named Zoe.  Lauren's lifestyle was a better fit for a small dog and it was time for a dog of her own to spoil.  Lauren saw Zoe on the PPR website and fell in love with her.  Having the same name as her mom and dad's dog just had to be fate!  So now there's Big Zoe and  Little Zoe!  Little Zoe is just tiny enough to take wherever Lauren goes.  If you spot Lauren and Zoe around town, be sure to say hello!  Thank you Lauren for rescuing a pup in need. And thank you foster mom Christen for loving Miss Zoe while she was in your care.

Max is HOME!! Jerry and Jo Ann couldn’t imagine life without a pup in their home. After losing their precious buddy Jack, they needed to give another pup a loving, happy home. Along came Max at just the right time. Max couldn’t be happier to be in his forever home and Jerry and Jo Ann are thrilled to have another dog to dote on. We want to give a big thank you to Jerry and Jo Ann for opening their hearts to another dog after the sadness of losing Jack. You are rescue angels and Max will thank you every day!! And thank you Michelle for fostering Max until his forever family came along.

Delaney is HOME!!  Diane waited nearly 8 years to adopt a dog since her last dog passed away. Now that she was close to retiriing she knew she could give the dog lots of attention so the time was just right!  Delaney, now known as Chloe, is home with her new Mommy Diane and her many friends and family members. As you can see from this picture, Miss Chloe is already adored. What a lucky girl!!  Thank you Diane for rescuing this little lady and making her part of your life. And thank you foster Andrea for dolling up Delany and loving her to pieces while she was in your care.

Little Caesar is HOME!!  Tiffany is a young lady who wanted to rescue a dog she could love and cherish forever. She and her family searched for the dog who needed them the most. Little Caeser stole their hearts and they couldn’t wait to meet him and make him theirs. Their search was over. This family of 4 will love this little guy every day of his life.  Little Caesar’s search for a forever home ended with Tiffany. He is thankful to his foster mom Vicki for loving him always. And thank you to Tiffany and your family for reaching out to save a dog in need.

Olive is HOME!!  Mark and Maryellen have always rescued their family dogs. Their last pup was loved until her passing at the age of 17. With 2 young boys in the home, a puppy would fit great into this active family. As in the past, the family looked to rescue for a puppy, and had a chance meeting with Olive at the adoption event in Celebration.. Olive sure hit the jackpot that day, going home with her awesome forever family. Thank you Mark, Maryellen, Nate and Zeke for choosing to rescue your family pet. And thank you puppy foster Angelica for the great start you gave Olive!

Alvin is HOME!! Brandi had been searching for a pup to adopt so she attended the adoption fest held in Celebration. As an empty nester she knew she had the time and patience to give a puppy. Alvin was the lucky puppy who stole her heart. We fully understand because who in the world could resist this adorable puppy? Brandi fell in love, applied to adopt and met foster mom Faith following the event to make the adoption final. This little pup will be so well loved, trained and socialized. Thank you Brandi for choosing adoption, and thank you Faith for all the love & care you gave Alvin and his puppy siblings.

Rascal is HOME!!  Michele and Anthony knew how much their daughter Jordan wanted a dog of her own to love, especially now that she was graduating college and starting her new life. This family loves dogs as their pups Rome and Bella will attest. The family spotted Rascal and they all met the little guy.  Now  Jordan now has a little buddy of her own to raise, love and spoil. We know she'll be a great mom to this pup since she has volunteered as a foster mom for PPR in the past. Thank you Jordon for choosing rescue, but especially for choosing little Rascal as your own!  And thank you Janis for fostering this puppy and giving him a great start!

Chewy is HOME!!  Roxann and Ric LOVE dogs. In fact, they have quite a brood, each one spoiled & adored. They believe there is always room for one more so when they met Chewy, they decided to make him part of the pack! Chewy is in for a life of fun and adventure. Not only does he have all his pup siblings to play with, he'll also be travelling the country with Roxann and Ric. All the dogs get to winter in Florida and summer in the Northeast. Wow, what a life! Thanks so much Roxann & Ric. We're so happy you had space in your heart & home for Chewy! And thanks Barb for fostering this cool little dude.

Ally is HOME!!  Marilyn and Eric were considering adoption, but taking their time to find the right fit. Still grieving from the loss of their precious poodle Sassy, they felt they would know when the right pooch needed them. Their Sassy was 17 when she passed and was loved and cared for like a princess. PPR knew any dog adopted by Marlilyn and Eric would be loved the same way. Ally is the lucky pup who now gets the adoration of parents Eric & Marilyn. They love her to pieces. Thank you Eric & Marilyn for choosing adoption.

Barbie is HOME!  She's now 'Lady Gaga'!  She came to us after someone cut off her ears.  Now she's home with Brenda and Bill who adopted Fiona from us a few months back.  Brenda says it best "We adore our new Lady Gaga! She is fitting into our life style nicely and knows her new name. She sleeps in bed with us and all of her sisters. She is playing with Murphy our 10 yr. old black poodle and our 5 yr. old yorkie named Moontaha.  Our last rescue, 13 yr. old Olive hasn’t warmed up yet but that will come in time. Gaga goes for walks, gets has a vitamin every day, eats treats from Wolfgang Bakery and is taking rides in our car."  What a wonderful new life for this sweet girl!!

Emry is HOME!!  Francine and Ron loved all their precious pups. Sugar Pie and Skippy never lacked for attention and care. Francine & Ron wanted to give another pup a home where he or she would cherished and secure. Emry is now home with this wonderful couple, being loved like she's never known before. We are so happy for Emry and know that her life just got so much better now that she has a family that loves her!! Thank you Francine & Ron for opening your home to another rescue pup. And thanks Rose for fostering this bundle of adorableness!

Mitzi is HOME!!  Neal and Sarah are cat folks but love the doggie's too! They wanted to add a pup to their family but of course the pup would need to get along with their current cat companions. Mitzi was up to the task, she loves humans and 4 legged creatures of all kind!  Neal and Sarah met sweet Mitzi after spotting her on the website. They loved this beauty but then, who wouldn't? Thank you Neal and Sarah for waiting for your perfect match to come along! And thank you foster mom Marie for loving Mitzi while she was in your care.

Pluto is HOME!!  Sharon and Dana waited until their 2 children were old enough to care for and play with a pup.  They felt the time was right to welcome a fur buddy into their home. Sharon asked for an active dog who could go for runs, walks and swims in the pool. Pluto was definitely the boy for that task!  Both paws went into the air when we asked Pluto if he wanted to go home with this active family!  Thank you Sharon, Dana and the kids for providing Pluto with his awesome forever home! Thank you to Tomi and Elizabeth for such great foster care!

Spartan is HOME!!  Dale and Gerald have always been cat people, spoiling their kitties with plenty of TLC. With Gerald now retired and home most of the day, the time seemed right to bring a little  pup into the home. Dale and Gerald wanted a companion for lap sitting and daily walks. Who better than Spartan to fill that bill? He is certainly handsome, sweet and wants to please. Thank you Dale and Gerald for reaching out to rescue a dog and thank you Michelle and Bill for being wonderful foster parents to this precious pup.

Pam and George spotted Chichi on the website and thought he might make a good buddy for Jessica, their Jack Russell Terrier. Chichi is so darn cute with those radar ears that naturally he was totally irresistible when Pam and George met him in person. We adopted Chichi to this great couple and now he's living the good life in Cocoa with his 4 legged girlfriend Jessica. Thank you Julie for saving Chichi and Geri for fostering her. Chichi will be forever grateful to you both, and to her forever Mom and Dad, Pam and George.

Simon is HOME!! Ruthie and Rocky weren’t exactly looking for a dog to adopt but along came Simon and stole their hearts! Simon is an active goofball who loves to play and is happy keeping Ruthie and Rocky on their toes. They love him so much that they rush home to let him out at lunchtime. Even better are the days Rocky works from home so he can spend more time with his buddy. Thank you Ruthie and Rocky for adopting Simon and giving him his awesome forever home!

Abby is HOME!! Laurie just happened to meet Miss Abby when Abby was out and about in the neighborhood with foster mom Valerie. It was love at first sight for Laurie so she immediately applied to adopt Abby and was approved. From there is was simply a matter of introducing her twin teens to Abby. As you see from this photo, the twins approved and Miss Abby was adopted! She is one lucky puppy as she’ll have loads of attention from her new family as well as 3 cats to play with! We couldn’t be happier knowing this puppy has a long life of spoiling ahead in her awesome forever home! Thank you to all involved in making this adoption happen.

Lucille is HOME!! Jolann and Walter were without a four legged baby to spoil after the passing of their beloved senior dog. Lucille stole their hearts and they drove from Melbourne, equipped with a new doggy bed, all prepared to take Lucille back to her forever home. We couldn’t be happier for this precious little pup, who went from sad abandonment to grateful security in the arms of Jolann and Walter. No doubt she is the center of attention just as she deserves to be!! Thank you foster mom Misty for taking Lucille into your home till Jolann and Walter became her forever parents.
Rikki is HOME!! Alan & his family are dog lovers, so when Alan’s precious chichi Shelby passed away prematurely, it left a tremendous void in their home and hearts. Shelby was Alan’s adored little princess, a great dog in every way. When Alan’s daughter Amanda spotted Rikki, she felt in her heart this was the dog who could lift her Dad’s spirits.  Introductions took place & we're happy to report Alan  has found his new princess pup. Miss Rikki, now known as Ariel, is already loved and spoiled, no doubt with dog beds & toys in every room.  And as the story goes, they all lived happily ever after! Thank you foster mom Janis for giving this pup her great start to a charmed life.

Riley is Home!! We all love happy endings and this one is especially dear to our hearts. Everyone at PPR thought Riley was in foster care, but little did we know he had already found his forever home.....with his foster parents and their children! Sometimes these dogs are just sneaky that way, and in the case of Riley, he figured if he hung around long enough that Sandy, Marc and the kids would keep him forever! That’s exactly what happened and we are thrilled to announce that Riley is officially home for good. Thank you so much Sandy and Marc for loving this sweet boy. Your children will always appreciate this wonderful gift of a rescue dog to love.

Dakota is HOME!! Gerry and Howard had a Dachshund in the past and love the breed. They missed their little pup so much and couldn’t wait to find another Dachshund to adopt. Coincidentally, Dakota couldn’t wait to find her forever home! After meeting this sweet pup, Gerry and Howard knew they wanted her to be part of their family. According to Gerry, Miss Dakota has become super attached to Walter, following him everywhere he goes. Dakota also loves to chase squirrels in her fenced in back yard! Another bonus we just learned is that Gerry & Howard took in another Dachshund who needed a home so Dakota now has a buddy to play with too! Thank you foster mom Amanda for the love you gave this sweet girl while she was in your care. Thank you Gerry and Howard for giving Dakota a second chance!

Honey is HOME! Diane & Clay spotted this little pup with her perfectly sweet face and wanted to make her part of their family. With two golden retrievers in the home, Honey would have the honor of “token lap dog”! What more could a 10 pound dog hope for than 2 doting parents and 2 fun loving pup sibs to play with? Thank you Diane & Clay, and pups Vivi & Bo, for adding this tiny bundle of love to your home. Of course thanks to Rita for fostering Honey till her forever family came along!
Roxy Girl is HOME!! James & Megan  recently decided to become foster parents for PPR after adopting their lab Millie. They like big dogs so they agreed to take Roxy as a foster. (They don’t get much bigger that her!) Roxy needed lots ofTLC, which James & Megan could provide. So, as the story goes, Roxy  was in foster care just long enough to call herself a permanent family member, so her foster home became her forever home! Thanks James & Megan for being rescue heroes! And thanks Faith who also provided loving care for Roxy.
Susie is HOME!! Ernest and Sage spotted Susie’s picture and something jumped out at them, telling them she was the dog they needed to meet. Maybe it was the rich caramel eyes that tugged at their hearts. Suzie is a rambunctious young dog who is loving and sweet, but who also needed a home where she could get plenty of exercise and play time. We are happy to report that Suzie is now living her happily ever after with Ernest and Sage in their home with a fenced in yard, something all the other labs envy! Susie thanks Ernest and Sage for this brand new start and she also sends puppy kisses to foster mom Cynthia. Thank you Cynthia for your devotion to Suzie while awaiting her perfect permanent home!

Rosie is HOME!! As this picture shows, Elvin and Zaida are bursting with pride over their newest addition! Elvin happened to meet Miss Rosie when he was in the foster mom’s neighborhood. Perhaps it was love at first sight, but he couldn’t stop thinking of Miss Rosie! There was no question that this match was meant to be and Rosie couldn’t be happier now that she is surrounded by so much love. She has Elvin, Zaida and an extended family including their grandchildren, who cuddle her and give her all the attention she deserves. Thank you Rita and Janis for fostering Rosie and thank you Elvin and Zaida for opening your hearts to a rescue pup in need.

Artie is HOME!!  Julie and Steve, along with their 3 children, wanted to add a dog to their active family. Mr. Artie is the lucky pup who caught their eye so they drove all the way from St. Augustine to meet this handsome fella. After spending several hours getting to know him, this family decided that Artie would fit in just right in their home. Artie will enjoy lots of attention from this family of 5. Oh, and did we mention he’ll get to check out the pet corn snake and bearded dragon!  We’d love to see that introduction! Artie is so lucky to have been fostered by Jeanne and now to be living with his forever family! Thank you to all involved in making this adoption happen!

Harley is home!!  Cherri and Dave are experienced dog owners who currently have a hairless Chinese Crested named Deenie, They lost their other Crested to cancer in November. The hairless Chinese Crested are a unique breed who need experienced owners who understand the special care they require. Naturally, we were so happy when Cherri applied for Harley because it was apparent she would be able to tend to his every need and give him the loving care he deserves. Harley is now living happily in his forever home with Cherri, Dave, their daughter, and pup siblings Deenie and Joey. Thank you Angelica and Tom for fostering this gentle soul until the perfect match was made with Cherri and Dave!

Mirabell is Home!!  Miss Mirabell was rescued by volunteer Julie who also became her foster mom Julie. Tiny Mirabell is just so adorable and sweet that it took no time to find the perfect home for such a precious pup. Jodi and her husband Gerry were actively looking for a companion for their little pup Roxy so we suggested they meet Mirabell. It was a perfect match for all involved! Mirabell is now surrounded by all the love she deserves, living  with her new parents Jodi and Gerry, their 2 teenaged children, and of course her fur sister Roxy. Thank you again Julie for saving this sweet girl. And thank you Jodi and Gerry for adding Princess Mirabell to your family!

Mayzie is Home!! Gail has had several pup companions through the years and felt it was time to add a new fur buddy to her home. Mayzie caught her eye with her unique markings and sweet face! Gail has reported that Mayzie is already making herself right at home. She loves to lay at Gail’s feet or snuggle in her doggie bed. Gail has had a beagle in the past so she recognizes Mayzie’s need for exercise and exploration, as well as the “beagle bark”. Thank you Gail for being Mayzie’s rescue angel! And thank you Terry for fostering this sweet girl as she awaited her furever home!!

Buddy and Cooper are home!  We adopted Buddy and Cooper to Michele and Karl.  Michele and Karl are huge dog lovers who work from home so their dogs are never alone.  They have another young Shih Tzu that loves to play, so Buddy has a buddy to play with!  Michele and Karl have lots of time to spoil their pets and have a history of providing excellent care for their dogs who get to sleep in the bed and even go on vacation in their RV.  Thank you Kim and Jeanine for fostering these two pups so they can be spoiled for years and years!

Leo is Home!! Stephanie had wanted to adopt a dog of her own for quite some time, and now that her new home is nearly finished, the time was just right to bring Leo home!! Leo is so lucky to have the complete attention of Stephanie, tagging along with her as she goes about her busy life. This lucky pup gets to go to the parks, outdoor cafes, and other doggie friendly venues around town.  He might even convince Stephanie to take him to work with her! Thank you foster parents Michelle and Bill for the care you provided this super cool little guy. And thank you Stephanie for your lifetime commitment to love your rescue pup!

Lexie is Home!!  Nancy, Roger and their children David and Rachel (pictured) adopted Lexie.  When they met Lexie, they knew that she was coming home with them to join their Boston Terrier Sandy!  This adoption is extra special because Nancy and Roger are friends of Lexie's foster mom, Julie. That means Julie gets to visit Lexie any time! Julie not only fostered Lexie, but also transported her from animal control, and cared for her throughout her bladder stone surgery and recovery.  Lexie is such a lucky girl to have so many people in her life who love her . Thank you foster Julie and adopters Nancy, Roger and family for fulfilling this pup’s dreams of happily ever after.

Lolly is Home!!  Lolly needed a family that was patient, experienced and had lots of time for her.  Jan and Brent were just what Lolly needed.  They wanted a dog to love, having lost their sweet girl Zoe last fall. Now Lolly is now living a great life with retirees who spoil her and dote on her every need. Like a lot of our pups, Lolly gets to live the snowbird life traveling with Jan and Brent between homes in Florida and Illinois. We love it when our dogs get to see the countryside with their wonderful families! Thank you foster mom Mary for your devotion to Lolly. And thank you Jan and Brent for being rescue angels!
Bella is Home!! Evelyn and Robert waited patiently for the dog who needed them the most. Once they saw Bella they knew she needed them as much as they needed her. Bella will surely be another ambassador of good will, showing the world that rescue dogs are amazing. Thank you so much Evelyn and Robert for waiting for Bella through her bladderstone surgery and recovery. And thank you Michelle for saving this pup and making sure she got the care and love she needed to be ready for her forever home. This is one very happy ending!

Little Harvey will now have duel citizenship as he makes himself comfy in his two new homes!  This little guy gets to see all the sights along the way, traveling with his pup buddy Rusty, pictured here with mom Yvonne. Thank you Yvonne and Klaus for adopting this pup and showering him with love and happiness. And thanks to foster dads Dustin and Stephen for the wonderful care provided Harvey while in your home.

Wally is Home!!  This sweet little shih tzu pup was swept up quickly by Lisa, who is a true animal lover.  We knew Wally was just what Lisa was looking for. When Wally came in, we sent her his photos and Lisa didn't hesitate.  She drove two hours to meet him and of course she fell in love! Wally now has Jake and Bear, two pup buddies to romp with and he can play with his feline sibling Smokey. Lisa will love Wally just as she loves all her animals. Thank you Lisa for adopting a pup who needed a place to call home!
Buddy is Home!! Buddy had just arrived into foster care with foster mom Angelica. When Angelica’s friends Kevin and Ann agreed to watch Buddy for an afternoon, they had no intentions of adopting a dog. This was strictly meant to be “dog-sitting”. Well, Buddy must have had other intentions since he took a look around and decided he needed to stay, not just for the afternoon, but forever! They often say the dog chooses his family and that’s just what Buddy did. Here are Nate and Gabby with Buddy, their new brother! Thank you to foster Angelica and new family Kevin, Ann, Nate and Gabby for making this pup feel right at home!

Snoopy is Home!!  Johanna and Paul know that one dog is great, but that 2 dogs double the fun! Their 2 year old shih tzu Benji is an active little guy who needed a pal.  Snoopy was a homeless little guy who also needed a pal!  It looks like Snoopy (the black faced Shih Tzu) is making up for the love he missed during the first part of his life.  He's pictured here with Johanna and her grandson Tyler.  Wow, what a lucky pup to now have a family who will love him forever, plus pup brother Benji to be his best play and tug-o-war pal! Thank you foster mom Sharon for taking in this sweet boy and thank you Johanna and Paul for adopting Snoopy (now Billy)!

Moe is Home!!  He has joined the ranks of those lucky pups who go into foster care and never leave!  Moe's foster mom fell in love with him and couldn't bear to let him go so she adopted him!  Moe is now forever home with Barbara, his foster mom turned forever mom. We couldn’t be happier that Barbara decided that this sweet boy needed to stay with her and her family forever. Barbara knows how to spoil the dogs in her care. There is no doubt that Moe did the happy dance (along with giving sweet puppy kisses) when he got the good news that he was already "home" ! Thank you Barbara for fostering and adopting Moe!!

Tank is Home!!  With a face that is simply irresistable, Tank stole the hearts of Karen and Stephen. This couple lost their greyhound  a year ago and was ready to add another 4 legged friend to their family. Karen knows what it means to  rescue a dog in need.  Tank isn't perfect.  When Tank came to us he had trouble walking, maybe from an injury.  He is doing great now, but he may need an anti inflammatory at times during his life.  But Karen didn't care. She wasn't looking for a dog that was physically perfect, just one that was sweet, loving and needed her.  These adopters are true heroes.  We also thank Tank's foster mom for giving him a fresh start and helping him to heal.

Ginger is Home!!  Amelita and Larry are dog lovers who knew they could provide Ginger the happy home she’d been denied during her short life. Ginger was such a mess when she arrived in foster care. She had been neglected for so long, found tied to a tree.  But with the tender loving care of foster mom Sissy and her friends, Ginger began to thrive and learn to trust. Then along came Amelita and Larry, who already have several dogs, yet knew that Ginger needed them. Thank you Amelita and Larry for adopting Ginger and keeping her safe and loved forever. And thank you Sissy for your devotion to this sweet girl.

Abigail is Home!!!  We adopted Abigail to Kathy, an experienced dog owner who has had a dog with bladderstones and on the bladderstone diet!  She works from home, has no other dogs so this was PERFECT!  She hadn't had a dog for a while, but when her job allowed her to begin working from home she decided to adopt again.  Kathy drove from Tampa to meet her and Abigail is now being spoiled rotten. Abigail has been through a tough time but all is well now!  This dog was in so much pain and now she just has joy in her life.  Thank you Kathy for adopting a dog that needed you and thank you Jeanine and Ron for caring for Abigail until Kathy found her!

Bruiser is Home!!  Tessa and Dave were without a pup in their lives, having waited until the time was just right for a 4 legged member to join their family. They wanted a cool little dog to hang out with and since Bruiser is cool and likes to hang with his people -- a match was made!  Bruiser is now in his forever home with Tessa, Dave and his new cat sibling. He is being raised by a family that adores him and will surely give as much love as he is getting. Thanks Tessa and Dave for adopting a puppy and thank you Michelle for the great start you provided this pup in foster care.

Greta is home! Molly and Justin wanted a playmate for their pup Hammond after Hammond’s doggie sibling Baloo recently passed away due to cancer.  Molly and Justin know from experience that one dog to love is great, but 2 doubles the fun!  When Greta met this family, she won them over with her big personality and ladylike charm. Greta is digging her new digs, big fenced yard and all!  Greta came to us in such sad shape and now she is one of the luckiest dogs ever.  Thank you Molly and Justin for choosing a rescue pup to love and thank you Sharon for the awesome care you gave Miss Greta in your foster home.
Shea is Home!! Brandi and Gustavo have always had big hearts for rescue pups, even the dogs with very special needs. Now with two young children, they took their time searching for a dog the entire family could love. Shea is a sweet heart and loves all people, adults and children. Foster mom Ann felt that a family with 4 sets of arms to hold Shea would be perfect! Now Shea is in her forever home, spoiled in the fashion she deserves. By the way, Jackson, the little boy in the photo has renamed Shea.  She is now "Mia" and so she doesn't get confused, the family calls her "Mia Shea"!  Another happy ending and a complete family!!  Thank you Ann being a great foster mom to this pup.

Kupcake is home!  Ruth and her sister in law Mary Ann drove over an hour to meet Kupcake.  Ruth lost her beloved chi-poodle mix, BeBe, last month at the age of 13.  Ruth decided it was time to save another.  She opened up her loving home and her generous heart to this sweet little girl.  Ruth is retired which is just what Kupcake needs-- a mom that can be with her all the time!  Kupcake loves to be with people and now she has a full-time mom!  Thank you Michelle and Matt for fostering Kupcake!

Suzie Q is Home!!  This precious little face stole the hearts of Allison and Shane, who were looking to adopt a young pup who needed lots of love and attention. This couple felt the time was finally right to add a dog to their small family and Miss Suzie Q was the perfect match. This little pup has so much to look forward to as she grows up with great training, exercise and snuggles. Thank you Allison and Shane for seeking out a puppy to rescue. Suzie Q will be forever grateful. And thank you to foster mom Amanda, you are the best!!
Charlie and Josie are home!  This Mommy and daughter pup pair had been together since Josie was born, 6 years ago. There was no way we could separate these girls so we waited patiently for the perfect adopters to come along. Kathleen and William spotted these 2 and immediately applied to adopt them.  Now they are a family of four.  Kathleen has since sent us photos of William relaxing on the couch with "the girls" lying on top of him!   What a happy ending for this sweet pair.  Thank you foster mom Terry for taking in 2 pups and thank you Kathleen and William for doubling the love!!

Sparky is Home!!  When Sparky came into the care of PPR, everyone agreed he would be adopted quickly. Although we had to shave his head, he was still handsome.  But even more important, Sparky was smart, loveable and funny!  Lucky for Sparky, Roger was looking for a pup companion to hang out with.  And since Roger works mostly from home, any dog he adopted would get a ton of attention. Roger spotted Sparky on our site and applied to adopt. Sparky took one look at Roger and jumped right into his lap. These two were instant buddies and the rest is history! Thank you Mandi for fostering Sparky. And a big thank you to Roger for rescuing this precious pup!
Hans is Home!! Allison applied for a dog and was open to adopting the dog who needed her the most. She saw the photo for Hans and determined that he was the little pup who most  needed her love for the rest of his life. Hans is no dummy!  He charmed Allison's socks off and sealed the adoption deal!  Hans will be Prince of the castle in his new home. Allison, her roommate Diane, and other friends and family, will love and spoil this pooch as if he is royalty. Thank you Julie for fostering this sweet pup till his rescue angel Allison stepped in. And thank you Allison for your big heart for dogs in need.

Jasper is Home!! Genyth waited until the time was just right to adopt a puppy. With a new home, a fenced yard and lots of love to give, the time had definitely come!  Jasper is the lucky pup she selected, or as she said, the pup who chose her. He even reminded her of a rescue pup she had growing up. We have already heard that Jasper went on his first shopping spree after adoption and is now living the good life, spoiled by Genyth and her extended network of dog loving family and friends. Thank you so much foster mom Janis for giving this sweet pup his jumpstart in life. And thank you Genyth for rescuing a puppy who deserves all the love he’s about to receive.

Sam and Adam are Home!!  No, you aren’t seeing double! Mary Lou and Rex were looking for two dogs to adopt. The past year was tough for them when both of their senior aged pups, Bones and Buddy, passed away. This active couple wanted dogs to take on long daily walks and eventually take with them to do volunteer work in hospice care. Sam and Adam are cool brothers who love to learn and will thrive with Mary Lou and Rex. Big thanks go out to foster mom Cristen for all the love you gave these pups. And to adopters Mary Lou and Rex, well, here’s a big Thank You, Thank You (that’s for being double adopters!).

Cruiser is Home!!  This family of four recently lost their beloved pup Barney and Santa decided that the time was right to warm their home with puppy breath and loving cuddles.....just in time for Christmas.  When they arrived for their meeting, Cruiser crawled into their laps and wouldn’t leave their side. And when it was time to go, Cruiser jumped in their van and said “Goodbye Foster Family, I have found my forever family!”.  Thank you so much Jessica and Craig for giving this once abandoned pup all the love he deserves, and maybe a few surprises in his stocking this year! And thank you Julie for fostering Cruiser and showing him so much love while in your care.

Dorothy is home!  Eileen and her daughter Regina adopted Dorothy.  Eileen has always been active in dog training and agility work which is just what Dorothy needs!  She is a dog that likes to have a job and be part of all the activity in the house.  Because if there's no activity-- she'll make some!  Dorothy is going to be a great agility dog and will have the benefit of an active lifestyle fit for her breed, as well as the love and attention every dog deserves.  This dog is so special because her story was so sad and now she's part of a family who thinks she is so special.  Thank you Eileen and Regina for giving this girl a great home and Tomi for being such a wonderful foster mom!

Kennedy is Home!! Kennedy is a precious little puppy with a face that melts your heart. Derek and Alli found her irresistible so they adopted her to become part of their family. The added bonus for Kennedy is she gets a 4 legged sister named Kayla who will surely be her best buddy and tug of war partner. Thanks to foster parents Sherry and Neil for giving this puppy her best start to a new life and thank you Derek and Alli for seeking out a puppy to rescue. This little girl is one lucky pup!
Bailey is Home!!  Ginger and Tony applied to PPR to be foster parents to a dog needing temporary shelter. It must have been Bailey’s lucky day because she was placed in foster care with Ginger and Tony and never had to leave!!  Ginger, Tony and their daughter Faythe fell in love with their “foster” pup and simply couldn’t imagine letting her go to another family. All that sweet puppy charm worked its magic and Bailey convinced this foster family to be her forever family too. Like Bailey, we just Love when that happens! Thank you Ginger, Tony and Faythe for saving this girl and loving her forever!  Thank you to Michele for sponsoring her!

Oakley AND Janey are Home!!  Carol drove from Tampa to meet A dog, and well, as you see from the picture, she went home with a pair! Carol lost both of her dogs in 2011 to old age so her house felt empty. She missed coming home to the kisses and joy only a pup can provide. Once Carol met Oakley and Janey, who were both in foster care with Linda, she couldn’t pick just one! These precious pups are so happy to live together with a mommy who will love and spoil them. Thank you for Carol for adopting all the pets you’ve loved through your life. You are a true rescue angel. And thank you Linda for being the best foster mom any pup could hope for.

Dakota is Home!  This beautiful chow mix came to us neglected and shy, but after some wonderful care from her foster parents Sandra and Clay, she was ready for a home.  Jeffrey & Jordy, Dakota's new dads, were sure Dakota was the perfect addition to their family. Dakota is here napping with her 4 legged brother Max.  Which is Max and which is Dakota is anyone's guess!  Max & Dakota chase each other in the yard,  empty the toy box all over the house, then relax with a nap!!  Thank you Jeffrey & Jordy for seeking out this dog and making this adoption happen!
Sophie is Home!!  Sophie was abandoned through no fault of her own and all she wanted was one person to love her and keep her company. Sophie’s lucky day came when she met Alma, who adopted her and has already begun spoiling her with toys, a soft warm bed and romps around the park. Sophie shows her gratitude to Alma with lots of snuggles and doggy kisses. These two are going to have a great life together, spending time taking long walks, hanging out at home, and travelling in Alma’s RV.  Alma already reports that Sophie loves to go for car rides so she will make a great co-pilot in the RV. Thank you Alma for giving this dog her second chance and thank you to her wonderful foster mom Terri for being her angel.

Oliver is home!!  Joselyn, Eric and their son met Oliver at an adoption event where many dogs were showcased and eager to find their forever homes. With so many dogs to choose from, Oliver was the one that caught the eye of this young family. His beautiful golden coat, precious face and sweet disposition was all it took for this family to know that they wanted Oliver to be their forever pup. Lucky for Oliver too because he has an active young boy and his friends to play, with and a Mom and Dad to snuggle and hang out with. That’s about as perfect a life as it gets for any dog. Thank you Joselyn and Eric for opening your homes and hearts to this awesome dog!
Kodiak is home! When Kodiak came to us, we knew it wouldn't take long for a poodle lover to scoop him up! That's exactly what happened when Sheila and Jos saw this gorgeous pooch. Their poodle Dagmar recently passed away and their home felt very empty. Kodiak was just the pup to fill their hearts with all that poodle energy so they drove from Tampa to meet and adopt him. Kodiak is with a mom and dad who will continue to train him and pamper him the rest of his days. Thanks Sheila and Jos for rescuing this amazing dog!
Dharma is Home!!  Her new mom and dad Roberta and Donald have huge hearts for all the abandoned pups.  Dharma, now known as Darlin (how perfect is that!) is the luckiest little dog because she is going to be spoiled in her new home. Roberta was looking for the dog who needed her the most and when she saw Dharma, who came to us with one soulful eye, well, that was it!  We are thrilled because we know how much Roberta will love this dog. Thank you Roberta for all the wonderful things you do for dogs in need and especially for giving this little pooch her forever home. And thank you Barbara for the great start you gave Dharma in her foster home.

Buster and Gigi are home!! That means double the love for this lucky adopter! Nancy was looking for one dog to adopt but when she saw this bonded pair, she couldn't resist meeting them. Buster and Gigi stole her heart and are now living the good life with Nancy. They also get to play with Nancy's 4 grandchildren who live right down the street! No doubt these 2 pups are the hit of the neighborhood. Thank you Carrie for fostering this sweet pair and thank you Nancy for adopting them so they can spend the rest of their days side by side in their forever home!
Ebony is Home!  Debi and Scott and their 4 children were ready to give a pup a forever home. Their 16 year old dog recently passed away so the family wasn't complete without a furry friend. Ebony's spunk and her adorable face made her irresistible. And she's just the right size to travel along with the family in their RV, making her a perfect match! Ebony is off to the good life surrounded by active children which is just what Ebony needs!  Thank you Sherry for fostering this precious pup till her forever family came along. And thank you Debi, Scott and kids for loving Ebony forever!

Trudy and Rocky are Home!!!   Alfredo and Maringela  adopted both of these precious cocker spaniel pups.  We are so happy that these siblings are together now in their forever home! Alfredo and Maringela are used to having 2 pups at the same time so it seemed only natural to them to keep these dogs together. After meeting Rocky and adopting him, they set a time to meet Miss Trudy and took her home too! These 2 dogs will grow up together and be spoiled by their mom and dad. What a journey for these spaniels.....from being separated at the shelter to being reunited in their forever home!!  Thank you so much Alfredo and Maringela for providing double the love to these puppy siblings!
Junebug is Home!! Junebug is high energy so the only option for her was an equally active family, with kids, another dog, a pool (Junebug loves to swim) and a fenced in yard!  Juliet and Brian searched for a dog to be a playmate for their recently adopted Aussie puppy. These wonderful rescuers had recently lost their 2 family dogs to advanced age and cancer, so they knew they wanted two dogs back in their home.  Junebug was a great match for their Aussie pup, and more importantly, daughter Collette loves Miss Junebug and vice versa.  This family reports that Junebug has found the family that is just right for her! Thank you Juliet, Brian and Collette for saving another dog and thank you foster Faith for the devotion you showed had for this precious pup. Sometimes the best things in life are worth the wait!!
Eddie is HOME!  Eddie was adopted by Deb, a wonderful gal who knows the importance of rescuing.   Deb had 3 dogs (all rescues) including  Dafney, a 3 legged dog she adopted from PPR 2 months ago.  When she met Eddie, he was nippy, as he is with all new people, perhaps a result of being mistreated in the past.  Deb wasn't bothered by Eddie's fear.  Ia a couple days he trusted her and now he loves her like crazy.  Eddie also fits into the pack wonderfully because he's just as active as them.  Thank you Deb for your patience and love, exactly what Eddie needed.  Eddie is safe, happy and home now!
Elle is Home!!  Richard, Muriel and their 3 children wanted to give their sweet, lovable Goldendoodle Rocky Rascal a playmate. Rocky is such a happy dog and brings the family so much laughter that they figured another big lovable dog would only make for more family fun!  Judging by the smile on Elle’s face, she agrees!  With 3 active children in the house and a big fenced yard, not to mention a 4 legged buddy to pal around with, what more could Elle need? Sounds like puppy paradise! Thank you Richard and Muriel for finding space in your busy lives and home for another pup. Elle hit the doggie lottery when she met your family!!!

Ella is Home!  After losing their Lab Lucy to cancer, Janie and Jeff wanted to adopt a new pup to liven things up and give Charlie, their sweet Shih Tzu, a new sister.  This couple was more than happy to continue Ella's physical therapy following her recent knee surgery, and they will bring her back to PPR for her second knee surgery in a few months.  Janie is a stay-at-home doggie mom so Ella gets lots of walks around the neighborhood and all the hugs she could ever hope for.  Ella is already the life of the party, but when both knees are fully healed, she will be unstoppable! Thank you to Ella's foster mom Kim and our generous PPR donors and veterinarians who fixed Ella's legs!
Curly is home!!  Jean and David were looking for a dog to adopt because Jean just retired and wanted a constant companion.  Curly is one awesome dog who found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own. Roberta sponsored him and PPR rescued him knowing he was going to bring a lot of happy smiles and cuddles to someone. Little did we know he would be lucky enough to have his adopted Mom home during the day to provide him all the attention he craves and enjoys and a Dad who loves him to pieces.  Jean says that Curly is showing his gratitude by protecting their home with his watchdog skills.  Thanks so much to Jean and David for giving this pup the forever family he deserves!
Charlie is Home!! Evelyn wasn’t actively looking for a dog since the loss of her beloved poodle Bernie in October. However, when Charlie came into the care of PPR, we immediately thought of Evelyn and suggested she take a look at this adorable little fella. When Evelyn saw Charlie’s picture, she sensed a connection. As we say in rescue, it seems that the dog “found” Evelyn.  Charlie has helped Evelyn to heal and filled the void left when Bernie passed.  Charlie’s name is now Fredrick which means Peaceful Ruler. As Evelyn says, Fredrick, aka Freddie, will definitely be a Prince in her home!  Thank you Evelyn for allowing another little dog to live a long and happy life in your care. And thank you Andy and Andrea for fostering this precious pooch till his forever home came along.

Molly is home!  Johnette and her two boys love this little girl to pieces.  Donovan is Molly's best bud.  She never leaves his side.  You can see that they even sleep side by side!  Molly follows Donovan everywhere.  She even rides with him in the car when he gets dropped off at school because not only does she love Donovan, but she loves riding in the car!  Johnette says that Molly is so smart, sweet and playful with the boys.  They show her off to everyone!

Buster is home with Shannel, and what a perfect home it will be!  We knew Buster needed an active owner who was willing to play, walk and jog with him. Fortunately for Buster, that is exactly what Shannel intends to do! Buster will also have a fenced yard to run in and practice his fetching skills! Mr.Buster is a very young dog and Shannel has just the right energy to keep him busy. We are so happy that Buster is home just in time for the holidays. Buster will be spoiled by lots of family and friends, plus a few yummy leftovers!  Thank you Shannel for sharing your home and life with this awesome boy and thank you Julie, Buster's loving foster mom!
Tina is home with Nancy!  Nancy is an experienced dog owner, having loved both large and small breeds and cared for her dogs through multiple illnesses. We knew she would be a wonderful Mom for one of our pups. Tina came to us scared and shy, but with her loving temperament and gorgeous face, we suspected she would be adopted quickly. Nancy and her son arranged a meeting and loved her instantly as this picture shows! Who could resist those soulful eyes. Tina is one lucky girl to have Nancy spoil her the rest of her days. Thank you Nancy for giving this sweet girl her new beginning to a long and happy life.  Tina also wants us to thank her foster mom Tomi for taking such good care of her!

Cleo is home! And what a wonderful home it is! Cleo will now be known as Hope because that is just what she brings to Melanie, her new mommy. Melanie might be just 12 years old but she, along with her family, have searched for just the right dog to be Melanie’s constant companion. Melanie is a brave, strong girl who will train Hope as her therapy dog. We think Hope will be that and more! Hope is in for a life of unconditional love, kisses and snuggles. She will be joining her new family of 5 plus big brother Max, an older Schnauzer boy. Thank you to Melanie for saving a dog and giving her HOPE for a very bright future. We look forward to lots of updates on this special bonded pair!

Caviar is home!  This amazing little Lhasa was in a shelter with little hope and next thing he knew, he was adopted to an amazing family with not just one, but three little girls to shower him with love.  Caviar is such a sweetheart and we know he never lacks for someone to play with or snuggle up for a cuddle. What more could a little dog hope for than to be the center of attention in a family with three girls to love him?  Thank you Keith and Rebecca for opening your hearts to a homeless dog and teaching your girls that rescue dogs are the BEST!!  And thank you Maddie, Isabella and Audrey for taking such good care of your precious little dog!

Happy Jack is really happy now cause he’s adopted and HOME!!  Kate was looking for a dog to join her family after the loss of one of her pups in September. Happy Jack will have plenty of playmates in his new home, including pup brother Hiro and house cat Dexter. Kate wanted to be sure she found just the right match for her and her 4 legged kids as they are a super close knit group. Now that her 5 children are grown and on their own, her animals get lots of spoiling which Happy Jack so deserves. Kate wanted a dog who would enjoy long walks on the leash and playtime on her property. Thank you Kate for opening your heart and home to another rescue pup. We have no doubt that you have put the “happy” in Happy Jack for the rest of his days!
Bruno is home!!  Madison and Chris are a young couple who were super eager to adopt their first dog. With college to finish and careers to begin, they gave a great deal of thought as to the best time to expand their family. Fortunately Bruno came along at just the right time. Madison grew up with Daschsunds so it’s a breed she was very familiar with. She even helped her family raise a busy pup like Bruno so she wasn’t concerned that he requires lots of attention and craves activity!  When Chris and Madison met Bruno, it was an instant connection! Bruno is one lucky guy to have been adopted by this active young couple who will spoil him with attention! Thank you Madison and Chris for opening your home and sharing your busy lives with such an awesome dog!
Oreo Cookie is home!! Rob, his new Dad, recently moved to the Orlando area and was waiting to get settled before adopting a dog. We all agreed that Oreo might be a super fit for his lifestyle so Rob met Oreo and there was an instant connection. It seems Oreo, now known as Frasier, is right at home in his new bachelor pad, getting lots of walks from both Rob and the dog walker, as well as trips to the area parks. Updates from Rob have been super positive, and Frasier is one happy dude! Even the dog walker has fallen in love in Frasier.....hey, who could resist those soulful puppy eyes!?  Thank you Rob for giving this middle aged dog a brand new beginning and thank you Mary for sponsoring him!

Riley is home!!  Joel and Ron adopted this beautiful boy who now has two dads that love him to pieces!  Joel and Ron are experienced dog owners and know how to spoil a pooch, which is just what Riley needs.  Riley came to us a shy boy who lived a very sheltered life.  His foster dad Jeffrey taught him how to be happy and have fun.  Joel and Ron will continue to show Riley how wonderful life can be.  Riley has so much to look forward to now!

Destin is home!  We adopted Destin to Lauren, Michael and Avery!  A wonderful family who were ready to open their new home and hearts to him!  Destin is no longer cooped up in a house all day, he now has a big fenced in front and back yard to run and play with Avery!  He is looking forward to being worn out and showered with love on a daily basis.  Thank you to the Kruse family for adopting Destin after driving three hours to meet him.   We wish you many happy days as a new family.

Claude is home!  We adopted Claude to James, Tysam, their 5 yr old daughter and 7 yr old son.  This family lost their last tiny Yorkie at 14 years old.  It was time for another one to love!  Tysam works part time so Claude won't have much alone time.   He'll have his mom around lots.   You can see from the photo that Tysam is already in love and Claude looks so comfy in her arms.  Thank you Jeanine for fostering this fellow and Camelia for sponsoring him!

Dolly is HOME!  We adopted Dolly to Ariane and Michael.  They just lost their beloved Min Pin named Rocky to cancer.  Rocky was their baby.  They loved this little boy more than anything for 8 years.  He was one of the luckiest dogs in the world to have them as his mom and dad.  It was time for Ariane and Michael to give their love to another little one that needed them.  They met Dolly and loved her.  She's now a member of their family and guess who's the newest member of the Luckiest Dogs in the World Club?!!  Little Miss Dolly!!  Thank you Eve for fostering this little love!

Henry is home!!  Gina (on the far right) and her family have a house bustling with people and animals.  Henry is an active puppy who loves people and pets!  Gina has three kids, three cats and three dogs!  She works from home which allows her to give such a special home to all these pets.  Gina also pet sits for PPR foster dogs sometimes.  There is no boundaries to the love she has for homeless pets, including opening up her home to so many!  Thank you Gina for giving Henry a place to call home and a family of his own and to Deb for fostering this munchkin!
Gucci is home!!  We adopted Gucci to Debra and Jeffrey, 2 young retirees whose dog passed away.  Debra and Jeffrey are neighbors of Jeanine, one of our foster moms.  So whenever Jeanine sees them in the neighborhood as she is walking her foster dog, she tells them about PPR.  When they were ready to adopt a dog, of course, they had to adopt from PPR!   Gucci came to us with a broken leg but after PPR vets fixed him, he's doing great!  He is not expected to need any further care and can run, jump and play like a normal puppy! Thank you Debra and Jeffrey for rescuing a beautiful boy that needed a family to love him!

Licorice is home!  We adopted Licorice, now named Lexi, to Kristy and Todd who drove all the way from Tequesta to meet her and of course had to take her home!  Kristy and Todd's children are grown up now and no longer live with them but they have two other dogs Tyler and Cody, a Schnoodle and a Lab.  Lexi is a very active pooch who has two other dogs to play with and chase.  Krisy says "Lexi is doing really great & we love having her a part of our family!".  Thank you Kristy and Todd for driving so far to rescue a homeless pooch!

Daisy is home!!  We adopted Daisy to Suwanna who drove all the way from Sarasota to meet her.  Suwanna lost her Labrador to congestive heart failure at 10 years old.  She currently has 3 cats and was looking for a smaller dog that would do well with her cats.   Suwanna is a very special person-- a dog and cat rescuer.  She and her mom have rescued animals their whole lives.  She got her Labrador after it was abandoned in front of a grocery store and she gave him 10 wonderful years.  Suwanna reports that Daisy is great with the cats, a hit in the neighborhood and enjoys her playdates with her mom's dog.  Thank you Ann for sponsoring Daisy so she can live this spoiled life that includes doggie steps into the bed!

Milo is home!!  He's the big boy on the left and he has moved up in the world!   Milo used to live in FILTH, he had more fleas than we've seen on any dog, ever!  He was a half bald, breeding dog who's skin was "on fire".  He stunk so bad it was it was hard to be in the same room with him.  But now, he's living in beautiful home with his new mom Paula and brother Luca, a Malti-Poo.  He's now gorgeous, living in luxury and gets to be clean, feel good and be loved! Thank you Paula for saving Milo!

Princess is home!  We adopted Princess to Rene, Milton and their daughter Samantha.  This family's Pug had passed and they wanted to adopt another.  They felt strongly that Princess was the right dog for them and they were right!  We were only going to adopt Princess to a home with no children, until we met Samantha who is so smart she skipped a grade.  When we met Samantha, it was obvious she was going to be great with Princess.  Thank you for Richard for sponsoring this little girl.  Thank you also to Rene, Milton and Samantha for adopting a dog instead of buying one from a breeder or a pet store!!

Rusty went home with Charles, Laura and their 15 year old daughter, pictured here.  This family misses having a dog in their home.  Their oldest daughter moved out and took her dog with her.  The house is way too quiet!   It was time for a new addition.  Charles works from home so Rusty will have lots of company and help with his housetraining skills.   Thank you Mandi and Jessica, Rusty's foster moms for caring for him and his siblings and cleaning up all that poop!

Boo is home!!  Boo went home with Sandi who's dogs April and Cricket had passed at ripe old ages.  Sandi has a vet history proving her dedication to her pets.  A dog in her home is not just a pet, it's a member of her family.  Sandi has a great home and a nice fenced in yard so Boo can run around as he loves to do.  Although he may discover that lying on the sofa in the air-conditioning, chewing on a huge bone is also a great way to spend the afternoon!   Boo is Sandi's new baby.  Thank you Anne for sponsoring him!

Murphy is home!!  Murphy was found starving in the woods.  One of our foster moms was riding her horse and saw what she thought was a raccoon, but turned out to be a puppy, alone in the woods.  She took it home and called us.  After lots of loving care and vetting, Murphy became a gorgeous boy and was ready for a home.  Lauren wanted a companion for Shadow, her blind, diabetic Lab girl who still loves to play!  They adopted Murphy and Lauren says "He's a sweetie and we love him!".  Thank you Lauren for giving Murphy a new life!

Maxwell went home with Cathy and Bill.  This couple has one baby -- a German Shephard named Sasha!  Sasha lost her prior companion and needed another doggie to share her life with.  Maxwell is just what this family was looking for!  Cathy and Bill have a huge yard for romping, so Maxwell and Sasha will get lots of exercise and have lots of playtime.   Thank you Mandi and Jessica for fostering this little pup who is home now!

Betsy is home!  Betsy went home with Peggy, Liz, Katie and their little Yorkie “Bear”. This family drove 2.5 hours to meet Betsy and everyone, including Bear, loved her. Peggy wanted to add another pup to her family after losing their beloved dog Candi last month and Betsy was a perfect match.  Peggy says Betsy is doing great and they all love her.  Next month, Peggy will take Betsy to her last follow up appointment for her eyes (Betsy had cataract surgery thanks to PPR donors).  Then Betsy can live the rest of her life like a normal, spoiled, princess!

Becca is home!  Becca went home with Emily and David who have two other Chihuahua's named Sherman (who is 16) and Nemo (who is 8).  This couple is devoted to their dogs.  Emily works from home so Becca will have a full time mommy.  And of course, she gets to sleep in the bed, where else?!  Becca who was a skinny middle aged dog, used to make money for her owner as a breeder is now living like a queen!  Thank you Emily and David for rescuing this little girl and showing her how wonderful life can be!

Kingston is home!!  Kingston lives with Jennifer, Brian and their 3 daughters, pictured here.  They just lost their Golden Retriever in August and missed the pitter patter of big feet in their home.  They happened to meet Kingston because a neighbor was fostering him and they decided he was the one!  These three girls are just what Kingston, now named Jack, needs to keep him busy!  Thank you Camelia for sponsoring this big boy who was a caged breeding dog and is now part of a family!

Missy's home!  We adopted Missy to Cheryl and Doug.  Cheryl had been looking for a little dog to love and cuddle so when she saw Missy, she knew Missy was the dog for her. Cheryl and her daughter Angelica, drove from Ormond Beach to meet Missy, now known as Sophie, and it was truly love at first sight. In fact, we are wondering if Cheryl has put Sophie down yet-- she just couldn’t let her out of her arms!  Missy now has a Bichon brother, a very gentle boy named Luke who is 10 years old.  Thank you to Evelyn for sponsoring this little girl and to Cheryl and her wonderful family for giving her the home she deserves!

Player is home!  We adopted Player to Mary, who is a special needs teacher.  Mary's cat passed and this time she was ready for a dog!  This will be her first dog so Player is perfect for her because he's calm, easy and loving.  Despite his name, Player doesn't play much, he's more of a loverboy.  Mary is obviously a special person with lots of patience, given her job.  Player is lucky to be in her arms and is going to be the perfect dog for Mary to come home to after a busy day.  Thank you Roberta for sponsoring Player!

Fred and Ginger are home!! We adopted this dancing pair to Carla, Francisco and their daughter. This family drove from Lake Worth to meet these two and it was well worth it. After the loss of their Poodle Max, they needed another to love. Lucky for Fred and Ginger, they have enough room and love for two!  We are so happy we could keep this pair together.  They are side by side from the time they wake up, until bedtime and can continue living together the rest of their spoiled lives!

Sherman is home!!  We adopted Sherman to Stacey who had recently lost her Boston Terrier, Louie to liver disease.  She needed another dog to love because she loves her pets like children.  Stacey drove from Tallahassee to meet Sherman and of course she loved him immediately.  Thank you Stacey for giving Sherman a wonderful home and also thank you to his sponsors-- Maria and Richard, for saving him!

Bubbles is home!  We adopted Bubbles to Kimberely, Brian and their two boys.  Bubbles took to these boys immediately.  She may have been around children in her past because she sure loves these two!  This family babysits a small peek-a-poo so they are used to small dogs but hadn't had a dog of their own for a while.  They met all 3 chichi's but preferred Bubbles because since they loved them all equally, they thought Bubbles needed them the most due to her age and her eye injury.  How wonderful is that!!  Bubbles now lives in Orlando and has a family all to herself!!

Winchester is home!!  Winchester was an animal control dog that, like most of them, was a great dog that had a dumb owner.  He was one of hundreds.  Now he's loved and adored by Neil and his mom Beverly who opened their home to this big loving pup.  As you can see Winchester is so thankful to Neil and has become his best buddy.  A great happy ending to a story that started off so sad.  Thank you Beverly and Neil!

Dori is home!!  Bret drove down from Gainesville to pick up his new girl.  Dori loved her new dad immediately.  She had a 2 hour drive ahead of her to meet her new mom Claire and her brother a 2 year old Bichon named Huckleberry!  Lets hope Huckleberry is prepared for non-stop play as Dori won't accept anything less!  Thank you Patricia for sponsoring Dori who is in excellent hands now especially since dad is physician and mom is a nurse!

Smiley is home!!  Smiley went home with Jeff and Daeng.  Jeff and Deang are about to become empty-nesters as their son is getting ready to leave their home.  So course they needed something to love and care for with their kids gone.  This family drove all the way from Jacksonville to meet Smiley and make him part of their family.   Daeng is a homemaker and with her son gone, what is she going to do?  Spoil Smiley of course!!  Thank you to this family for driving so far to adopt a homeless dog and for Casey for sponsoring him so he could be loved for the rest of his life!

Godiva is home!  Godiva now lives in Wesley Chapel with Denise, Miguel and their son and daughter.  This is the first dog for this family and they picked a great one.  Godiva has become a sweet, but playful puppy.  Her personality is a great combination of calmness and silliness.  She is going to get tons of love from this family and give them years of fun in return.  We waited for the perfect home for Godiva and it was worth it!

Ace is home!  Erika, her husband George and their children Chandra and Preston (pictured here) adopted Ace!  Ace is now called "Tally", after Tallahassee, where Chandra goes to college.  This family has been looking for a dog for a while and Ace needed a home that was relatively calm because he a bit afraid of loud noises and small children.  This family was perfect for him.  Preston even rushes home from his baseball games to ensure Ace isn't home alone too long.  Thank you Patricia for sponsoring this boy!

George is home!!  Mandi is a certified dog trainer at "Every Dog Has It's Day" dog training.  She has helped us save so many dogs with her dog training skills and experience.  We asked her to work with George, the blonde Standard Poodle and not only did she fix him, she adopted him!  George was a mess.  His owner died and he was not socialized.  He would not eat and was afraid of the world.  Mandi worked with him on his social skills and confidence.   In two weeks, George was a different dog!  He learned so many new things, but primarily that he could trust people and to enjoy life!  Thank you Mandi for giving George a life worth living and for all you do to help our dogs.

Calvin is home!! We adopted Calvin to Jessica who drove from Clearwater to meet him and has already emailed us photos of her "new little love" with a brand new hair cut! Jessica looks like a teenager but is actually in her early thirties (lets hope she doesn't mind us announcing that!).  Jessica works in a law firm and has grown up with dogs.  She has two nephews who will have playdates with Calvin, who loves kids!   Oh, and guess where Calvin sleeps?  Of course, next to his new mom!  Tomi and Linda, thank you for fostering Calvin, the lover boy!

Derby is home!  We adopted Derby to Amber, Jeff and their sons Sam and Max!  This is their first dog as a family as they wanted to wait until the boys were old enough before adding another family member.   Derby was the perfect candidate for a first dog because he is, well perfect!   We received a call from the family after having Derby for two days that they LOVE LOVE LOVE him and we are NOT getting him back!!  As you can, Derby and Max are making quite the connection!  Thank you Linda for caring for this big boy during his recuperation from eye surgery!

Lucky is home!  He was officially adopted by his foster family!  Nina, her husband Adam and their 2 kids pictured here-- Billy and Nini made Lucky part of their family.  This foster family helps the special needs dogs. Their hearts go out to the dogs that have nowhere else to go because nobody else wants them.  They foster the dogs that are sick, very old, blind, missing a leg, or have a deformed leg like Lucky.  They smother them with love, give them hope and they make them well.  Lucky hit the jackpot with this family.  Thank you to the PPR donors who made Lucky's leg surgery possible so he can go on to run and play like a normal pooch!!

Princess is home! Barbara and James drove down from Georgia to meet Princess, knowing that due to arthritis in her back leg, she may be on anti-inflammatories the rest of her life.  But this generous couple rescued their last dog, Molly, who just passed, so they know what it means to really rescue a dog.  A little limp and a pill every day, doesn't bother them!  So here's Princess getting a hug from mom, on her way out of the Florida heat!  Another lucky gal!!

Carina is HOME!  We adopted Carina to Carol who drove all the way from St. Petersburg to meet her.  Carol works part time so she has lots of time on her hands to spoil a pooch.  She lives in a community that is very dog oriented.  Carol is very dog experienced, goes on mile walks and her previous dogs lived to ripe old ages, which is what we hope for Carina. Carina got very attached to her foster mom and it became apparent she was a "one person" dog.  That is, she bonds very tightly to whomever she is with so we were looking for a single person that would be as devoted to her, as she was to them.  Carol is the one!  Thank you Jeanine for fostering Carina and to Carol for her love and patience with Carina.

Dafney is home!! We adopted Dafney to Deb, a young lady with TONS of dog rescue experience.  All of her dogs are rescues and she is very knowledgable about dog health and behavior.  Deb has two dogs of her own and Dafney makes three!  Deb has a history of putting her dogs first and providing whatever they need.  She has an active little Poodle mix that needed a playmate so these two will tire each other out.  Dafney is not a crippled dog, she is an acrobat and plays non stop, so this is a perfect match.  Deb is going to have two very tired pooches!  We are grateful to Deb for realizing that Dafney is perfect, just the way she is!

Hurley is home!  Luke and Sandy needed a companion for their Shorkie girl,  Leah.  These two snowbirds saw Hurley on the website and now Hurley is home and Leah has a brother to annoy!  Hurley now winters in Ft Pierce and summers in Maryland.  Not too shabby for a little dog who needed a home-- now he has two!!  Thank you Kim and Ron for helping this little guy find his new home with Luke and Sandy!

Bambi is home!  Ken and Bonnie didn't have a dog.  They work from home and had the time and love to spoil a lucky pooch.  Bambi is now a member of the "Luckiest Dogs in the World Club".  She has two loving parents and a beautiful home.  This little girl was hours from euthanasia.  Kaye sponsored her, our volunteer picked her up and look at her now!!

Rubydoo is home!!  Holly and Joel drove quite a distance to find a companion for Ayke, their 90 lb Giant Schnauzer girl!  This couple has the experience they need to train and care for these huge dogs, plus they have an acre for the dogs to run.  Ayke is checking out her new sister.  Who knew that Rubydoo who's going to be 60 lbs, would not be the biggest dog in the house!

Evan is home!!  Evan went home with Paul and Jill to join their 60 lb female Giant Schnauzer!  Paul and Jill have 35 years of experience with big dogs.  Their one year old Giant Schnauzer had just lost her companion so Paul and Jill drove over two hours to take Evan to his new home.  With their kids grown and out of the house, their home is still full of fun and activity with what will soon be another 60lb Giant Schnauzer!!

Olivia is home!  We adopted Olivia to Amy and Joe and their daughter Julia.  Amy is a runner and Joe and avid walker so Olivia will get all the exercise she needs!  Amy and Joe have experience with big dogs so they know that exercise is key!  Julia is a stay at home mom so Olivia gets a full time mom to drive crazy!  PPR owes Patricia, Olivia's sponsor and JoAnne, Olivia's foster mom a huge thank you!

Lily is home!!  We adopted Lily to Vincent and Sharon who drove 4 hours to meet her.  Sharon is a groomer so Lily will always be beautiful. Vincent and Sharon don't have any children, but they have so much love to give that their dogs are treated like children.  Lily is now part of their family and will be loved forever.  Sharon is welcoming Lily with a hug,  to their family of five now!

Abigail is home!!  Abigail went home with Kelly, Don and their two children.  Their previous terrier lived to be 16 so they are looking forward to spending the next decade and a half with Abigail!  This family has lots of dog experience and mom is a homemaker who will be helping Abigail with her housetraining skills.  We sent this family Abigail's photo and they drove over two hours to come meet her!  This was a pooch with nowhere to go and nobody who cared about her.  Now she has a family who loved her so much just from a photo, they drove half way across the state just to meet her!

Zak is home! We adopted Zak to Heather and Samual and their two sons.  Heather works from home and she says she has a little shadow now who follows her everywhere.  Their cat is elderly and not as active as he used to be so Zak is providing some extra love and activity to their home.   Heather was at the vet getting a dental on her cat when she met Zak who was being loved by the vet techs.  Zak reached out to her with his paws and it was all over!!.  Now he is part of this loving family.  Thank you Michelle and Kris for sponsoring this little guy!

Libby is home!!  Paula, Bill and their 13 year old daughter adopted Libby who is showing her appreciation with a kiss!  This family has a 9 yr old Aussie named Sarah so they know what herding breeds are all about-- exercise, activity, toys and play!  Libby will be a very busy girl for the next 15 years!  Thank you Mandi and Jessica for fostering this little gal!

Emma Grace is home!!  We adopted Emma Grace to Bonnie who had just lost her beloved Suesue after 15 years.  Bonnie needed another girl in her life to spoil and so did Emma Grace!  These two will spend years and years together.  Another perfect match.  Patsy-- thank you for sponsoring this scared little pooch at animal control that nobody wanted.  Look at your girl now!!

Montana is home!  He has a family full of blonde cuties-- Caden, Liam and Bianca.   Helene and Bryan, Montana's new mom and dad will have their hands full!  Montana's tail has not stopped wagging since he has a family of his own now.  He will grow up with his brothers and sister and have lots of adventures with them.  Look at him posing-- he's ready to start the best part of his life!

Peppy is home!!  We adopted Peppy to Rich and Helen who needed another dog because they only had one-- their precious Papillon Sasha.  Everyone knew there was enough love in this home for a second dog.  Peppy is the lucky boy they picked to join their family.  Peppy is an older dog that so many others had given up on.  Rich and Helen were not looking for a perfect dog, just one they could spoil!  Thank you Kaye for sponsoring this little man who now has years of hugs ahead.

Twixy is home!  We adopted Twixy to Anthony and his 8 yr old daughter.  Anthony drove 2 hours to meet Twixy and of course he fell in love with her because she is the sweetest dog ever.  Anthony could have run down to the local pet store or breeder and purchased a puppy.  Instead he drove 2 hours to rescue one.  Another true rescue hero!

Miss Piggy went home with Richard and Jennifer Law.  Jennifer is pictured here with a friend who also fell in love with Miss Piggy!  Richard and Jennifer have a  daughter and a small Schnoodle named Gixxie who are going to be so excited to meet their new sister!  Thank you to Donna for fostering Miss Piggy from her birth to her new life and to our sponsors and donors for helping with her care.

Sadie is home!!  Sadie has a new mom - Stacy, and two new brothers - Braden and Tanner.  This family is in love!  Sadie is such a lucky girl.  Her owner had hours to get rid of Sadie and called us before heading to animal control.  We got her on the website and within hours Lisa sponsored her and she was in a PPR foster home.  After some veterinary care she was ready for a home and now she is part of a beautiful family!  Another lucky dog who owes her life to PPR Volunteers, Donors and Adopters!!

Teddy Bear is home!!  We adopted Teddy Bear to Amanda and Adam who met Teddy and he stole their hearts.  Amanda's career required that she and Adam move to New York City so of course their precious Teddy Bear is now a New Yorker as well!  He is going to love that cold weather and his Pomeranian coat will keep him nice an toasty.  Thank you Jordan for fostering this boy and Amanda and Adam for giving him the home he deserves!

Georgia is home!!  Georgia is on the right and her new sister Nora is on the left.  Suzy adopted Georgia, then they went off on their first family vacation!  Here they are posing next to a babbling brook, the first of many adventures in Georgia's life.  Georgia lived a very sheltered life before she came to PPR.  Now she is a social butterfly with a sister to wrestle and a mom that has a history of giving her dogs amazing lives.  We love Suzy for rescuing Georgia instead of buying from a breeder and we love Melissa for sponsoring Georgia which saved her life.

Spicey is home!!  Spicey's new life is full of love from Melissa, Justin, their beautiful daughter and 2 other pooches!  Spicey has a bit of separation anxiety.  With this big family he never has to be alone because he always has Romeo and Angel his furry brothers around.  As Spicey starts to believe he's really HOME, his separation anxiety will go away.  His new family is so patient which gives Spicey the confidence he needs to recover even faster.  Another example of a family adopting a dog that isn't perfect, but they love him anyway.

Chester is home!!  You can't meet Chester and not love him.  It's impossible!  Kristen and Stanton were put to the test.  When Chester's foster mom went on vacation, her friends Kristen and Stanton volunteered to dogsit Chester.  Little did they know that Chester had other plans.  Chester started working on them immediately with his adorable looks, silly antics and cuddliness!  Within a week, he stole their hearts and had himself a mom and dad that adored him!  Thank you Deb for sponsoring him and Sarah for fostering him!

Toots is home!!!  We adopted Toots to Kristine, Matthew and their two precious daughters.   Toots also now has a Maltese sister named Gracie and a brother named Dudley!  This is a home so full of love for him he's not going to know what to do.  Toots is a very active dog.  He needs lots of activity and these two little girls and his doggie siblings are going to keep Toots happy, busy and tired!  Thank you Camilla for fostering this boy and thank you Kristine and Matthew for rescuing him!

Quincy and Wrigley are home!!  Jan and Scott adopted this pair after losing their beloved Pepe and Chelsea who lived long, happy lives.  This couple knows how to spoil a dog!  Dogs are family, not pets!  They provide only the best care to the furrier members of their family.  Quincy and Wrigley have ridiculously happy lives to look forward to.  And everyone knows there's not a better state of happiness than RIDICULOUSLY happy!!

Lucy is home!!!  We adopted Lucy to Nissa and her son.  Nissa is a Professor (not a model as you may suspect from this photo) and she and her son are dog-lovers.  They wanted to rescue a dog in need.  Coincidentally, Lucy was in need of a family -- a perfect match.  We have to send a big thank you to Linda for fostering Lucy during the two months while her leg healed.  This photo makes all the hard work worth it!

Porkchop went home with Kristle and Bill.  Porkchop, who's new name is Gizmo,  has a Shih Tzu brother to play with named Ziggy and a new mom and dad to spoil him.  Gizmo has no idea the years of fun and love that are in his future!  Thank you Donna for fostering this little boy from the day he was born until handing him off to the loving arms of his new mom and dad to start his life!

Desi is home!!  Desi went home with Lynn and her two boys Alexi and Quinn.  This pup is going to be the center of attention in this home and grow up with two brothers to play with.  You can see Desi is very grateful to Lynn for adopting him!!  Thank you to Donna for fostering this stinker from birth to his new home!!

Norman is home!! We adopted Norman to Linda and Richard, two young retirees, who have a spoiled Bichonpoo gal named Abby. So, of course, they needed a boy to spoil and it just so happens that Norman needed a girlfriend. Look at Norman giving Abby a smack right on the lips. Match made by cupid! Thank you to Patricia for sponsoring our sweet boy Norman and to Jen for being his terrific foster mom.

Bach is home!! Phyllis and Terry immediately fell in love with one of the sweetest faces to come through PPR, that of our tiny poodle Bach. They were looking for a little brother for 10 year old Teddi the shih tzu to pal around with when not snuggling up with mom and dad. Bach is the perfect match. Thanks go out to Deb and Greg for sponsoring Bach and to Marylynn for being such a great foster mom. Just look at this happy family!

Bella is home!! Diana applied for a blind grey/black poodle before we even had one! Then along came Bella within a couple of days and the match was made. Bella went home with her new family the same day Poodle and Pooch Rescue took her in. Talk about hitting the jackpot! This family was looking for that special dog to love and Bella came just at the right time. Thank you Patricia for sponsoring me and thank you to the Renaldo family for your big big hearts!! Bella will live a happy secure life from now on.

Charlie is home! Craig and Candi fell in love with this handsome doxy fella over the web site.  They had to anxiously wait to pick him up because of previous vacation plans but now he is home forever! As you can see in the photo, it is a love fest! Charlie will join the 2 family cats to live out the rest of their years spoiled silly!! Candi and Craig are RV'ers. So Charlie gets to go on vacation with his mom and dad and see the country. RV dogs are so lucky. Most dogs love riding in cars, the outdoors and being with mom and dad all the time. This is the RV life! Plus they get to meet spoiled dogs from all over the country. Charlie has so many adventures ahead. You really made this one possible from start to finish. We hope these photos fill your heart!!

Tinker is home! Rebecca and Kevin, Tinker's foster parents, could not let him go! They have a dog named Schmoopy who also begged mom and dad to keep Tink. Schmoopy and Tink play all day so the thought of splitting up this pair was unthinkable. Obviously, like all of our foster parents, this couple takes extraordinary care of their dogs. Tinker hit the jackpot! When we got him, he was full of ticks and terrified.  Now he's a dog with so much personality and so loving that he found his way into the hearts of his foster parents who simply couldn't bear the thought of letting him go. Another "foster failure" and we couldn't be happier!! Tinker too!!

Simon is home! Lydia and her daughter came to meet Simon and knew right away he was the one for them. He will be a spoiled only dog and have someone to hang around with all the time.  Mom works from home and now Simon can be her "assistant" during the day. When the teenagers get home from school then its play time. Thank you to Linda R for being such a great foster mom to Simon and a big thank you also to Patricia for keeping him off of Death Row.

Murphy is home!  Jackie adopted Murphy, who's new name is Twinkie.  Jackie's nieces are pictured here with Max the Schnauzer and Little Bit the Poodle.  Max has a mad crush on Twinkie, evident by his loving stare at her!   Jackie has a heart for the "underdogs".  She understands Murphy's needs and has an acupuncturist to help Murphy continue to do great.  Jackie loves Murphy to pieces but it's Murphy who won the lottery!  Thank you Jackie for opening your heart to a homeless, older, imperfect, loving, wonderful dog that needs you!

Bruno is home!  Bruno went home with Sarah, a teacher.  Sarah helped to raise and train her parents Goldendoodle, Rosie.  She decided it was time for her own dog to train and accompany her on her daily runs.  Bruno is a young pup that needs exercise and a mom with some experience.  We call this a perfect match!  Bruno has playdates with his Grandma's Labradoodle where they chase each other all over the house and gets his daily runs with his new mom.  Thank you Susan and Lisa for sponsoring Bruno!

Crackerjack is home!!  We adopted Crackerjack to Tammy, her hubby Kevin and their 8 year old daughter.  Crackerjack gets to join this family and their Westie Abby and their Persian cat.  Crackerjack is going to have lots to do in this home, so many other pets to chase and a little girl to grow up with.  Thank you Tomi for fostering this little puppy and so many others who contributed to the care of Crackerjack and his brother and sister pups!

Camilla is home!  We adopted Camilla to Lynda, Robert and their 3 children.  Camilla joins this family and their dog "Snickers" .  Snickers is adored so it was important for Camilla to love him too.  Camilla fit right in.  She and Snickers worked out an arrangement where Camilla stole Snickers' bed but Snickers got a new bed.  When Camilla started to steal all the toys though, Snickers decided to take them back which has resulted in lots of play for both dogs and family entertainment.  We are so thankful for this family and their dedication to all of their pets, even their guinea pigs!  Camilla is a very lucky girl!

Taro is home!  We adopted Taro to Tim, Victoria and their 3 kids.  Their prior Irish Setter passed at a very old age so it was time to add a new dog to the family.  Taro, like most pups, needs an active lifestyle.  These kids will ensure that Taro gets to burn off his energy with lots of playtime.  Taro is going to live the good life with his new family, as he drove off in style.  The foster moms are often crying and smiling when they say their good byes.  Thank you Tomi for a job well done!

London and Paris are home now!  These two came to us when they were 2 days old.  The pups and their mom were in bad shape.  Our vets and their foster mom did a great job keeping them all healthy.  Patricia, Mauricio and their two daughters adopted London and Paris who join their other 2 dogs Ozzy and Pinina to complete this perfect family.  This is a home full of fun, love and dog experience!  Just what every puppy needs.!

Skippy is home!!  Skippy now lives with Patrick, Jennifer and their 10 year old daughter.  This family now shares their home with 2 pooches-- Skippy and Haylee.  Haylee is their 12 year old Labrador, that's still going strong.  She's still active and playful and now has a brother to play with.  This family originally wanted a to adopt a girl, but when they saw Skippy, the knew he was the one!  Thank you Roberta for sponsoring Skippy so we could save him and make him healthy!

Mike, Lisa and their two beautiful girls adopted Faith!  This family had a Golden Retriever named Ben.  Ben was adored and lived for 14 glorious years with them.   They lost Ben in October and needed another dog to complete their family.  Mike and Lisa waited until the summer, for the girls to be out of school before they adopted their next family member.   Faith is now the luckiest dog in the world, with  14 years of fun ahead of her.  We are so happy for Faith and grateful to Mike, Lisa and their smiling girls.

Emi and Yuki are home!!  We adopted these two pups to Tomi who is a dog expert!!  Tomi runs the Orlando Canine Country Club,  a premier dog boarding facility in Orlando.  Tomi was Emi and Yuki's foster mom and when it came time to find them homes, Tomi said, "They are already home!".  Emi and Yuki get to come to work with Tomi everyday so the next time you board your dogs at the Orlando Canine Country Club, stop by and see them!

Bella is home!!  Mary and her family adopted this little stinker!!  This family lost their beloved Sheltie "Paige" who had a long happy life with them.  Now Bella gets to be the lucky girl to live her whole life being loved by this family.  She has so much to look forward to now!

Daisy Duck is home!  We adopted Daisy Duck to Colleen and her husband Greg who have a Westie named Sydney.  Colleen and Greg just had to put their dog Paxton to sleep so they wanted another dog to love and keep Sydney company.  Colleen is retired so she has lots of time to devote to Daisy.  We know this family and how much they love their dogs.  We are so happy that little Daisy gets to be part of a family that will cherish her.  Thank you to Patricia and Sherry who donated to save her.  Here's Daisy with Colleen and her son on their first day with their new baby!  Colleen's face says it all!

Brewster is home!!  Erika was looking for her first dog.  She's a smart, caring girl so she knew rescuing a dog was the right thing to do.  She cared about the dog's personality but wasn't particular about a breed.  Brewster is perfect for her because we don't know his breed and neither does he!  Erika is active and so is Brewster.  These two go for long walks and this weekend Brewster goes on his first boating trip!  Erika sent us a photo of Brewster in his flashy new bright orange lifevest.  He looks so proud!  Brewster was homeless a week ago and now he has a mom AND a boat!!

Bongo is home!!  We adopted Bongo to Gayle an Al.  Bongo joins their Poodle/Terrier mix named Shunji.  Bongo is a high energy puppy who needs a mom and dad dedicated to him and willing to give him the attention he needs.  He also needs another medium sized dog to play with to help burn off some energy.  This home has both -- it's perfect for this boy!

Buckaroo is home!!  We adopted Buckaroo to Robert and Erlinda who's previous Beagle lived to be 16.5 years old!  Buckaroo is going to be a spoiled dog in this home.  This couple provides unbelievable care for their dogs.  Buckaroo had a tough life and there is not a more deserving dog than him for a home like this.  This couple and this dog is what dog rescue is all about.  Robert and Erlinda, who could have any dog they wanted-- a cute Beagle puppy from a breeder or a pet store maybe.  But instead they sought out an older dog that had lived a tough life so they could spoil him and give him the life he should have had.  Buckaroo has alot of great years ahead of him.  He is the luckiest dog in the world to have this couple as his new mom and dad.  We can't thank them enough for being so caring and generous.

Clover is home!!  Clover came to PPR unable to walk.  She could crawl but not walk.  She had lived in a cage her whole life so her back legs were deformed and she had severe patella luxation and a torn ACL.  One surgery later and this dog is RUNNING!  After surgery she could stand, then she could  walk a few steps, then walk around the house and now she can run.  Clover is now making up for lost time because she won't stay still!  Her foster mom and dad, Michele and Karl, simply couldn't let her go.  Clover's a smart girl and made sure they fell in love with her sweet side before she unleashed the wild girl she turned into after PPR fixed her legs!

Dane is home!!  We adopted Dane to Mike, Diana, their son Zack and their Great Dane named Gracey Day. This family caters to their pets including taking them on vacation. This home is going to be so much fun for Dane.  Life has changed for this funny, affectionate, deserving boy and we are so happy.  Thank you Lisa for fostering him-- now Dane is part of a wonderful family.  Adopting a dog in his senior years is the most unselfish, generous act we see in rescue.  Mike, Diana and Zach are true heroes!

Winston is home!!  Winston's real name was "Peluche".  He belonged to Iraida, Edgar and their two sons.  They went on vacation and Peluche got loose from the person that was watching him.  Animal control picked him up after Peluche was running loose on his own for a while.  His eyes were horribly injured.  We had to remove one eye and perform surgery on the other.  Iraida and Edgar were so happy to see Peluche again!  Everyone was in tears except for Peluche who would not stop smothering his mom in kisses!!  Thank you to Scot & Pamela and Dee for donating the funds to pay for the veterinary care for Peluche.  What an incredibly happy ending!

Logan is home!  We adopted Logan to Andy, Michelle and their two girls.  Logan needed a home with lots of activity and energy.  He needed kids, other dogs, a big home, a big yard and of course a pool!  He got it all!  Logan has a Weimaraner brother to knock around, 2 girls to chase, a big home to run full speed through, a yard to hunt in and dig up and a pool to wash off in when he's all dirty!  The perfect home for him or any dog!  Thank you to Mandi, Leigh and Deb his foster moms and sponsor for giving Logan his perfect world.

Princess is home!  We adopted Princess, now known as "Milly" to Annie.  Annie is an attorney who grew up with family pets and it was time for one of her own.  She has already reported back that Milly is doing great.  Annie wanted a dog that would enjoy being an only spoiled pet and would take walks with her around Lake Eola.  This is the perfect home for Princess Milly.  She loves to hog the attention and strut her stuff in public so walks around downtown will be the highlight of her day!  Thank you Deb for sponsoring this gal so she could continue to share her silliness!

MayMay is home!  Maymay went home with Amy, Don, their two sons and their Pug "Tuffy" the black Pug pictured here.  This family has owned Pugs and Boston Terriers their whole lives and has a great history of making each one a part of the family.  They honor their commitment of caring for their dogs for a lifetime.  Maymay is a lucky girl -- two brothers to spoil her and a handsome Pug to play with!

Daisy is hone!  Daisy was adopted by Caren, her husband Jerry and their black Poodle "Duffy".  Caren was Daisy's foster mom who watch Daisy transform from a terrified, malnourished little girl into a playful, happy proud Poodle.  Daisy has grown attached to Caren and she just didn't want to go anywhere else.  Now she doesn't have to!  Thank you Caren for your patience in fostering Daisy and for helping Daisy to trust again and enjoy life!
